I brought this to their attention on several occasions. Speaking with the manager (Kayla, the owners daughter) is a horrifying experience. She speaks as if she is above reproach. Daddy's little girl will eventually drive daddy's business "out of business". This is Not the same company I and many other businesses have been working with for decades. This is "their new generation". In other words, the spoiled children for the original owners who have zero knowledge of how to properly run a business. And zero respect for long time clients and customers. P.S. At this point there is no need to even comment regarding the gaming portion of their business. It goes without saying that the above mentioned info applies to gaming as well. I am in the process of transferring all of my business to other companies. Recently my brother wanted to buy a switch 2 for his son i called them numerous times and they cant even pickup the phone. We went in person anyway and he spent about $800.00. I told them in the store your lucky we showed up, nobody answered the phone I had to talk him into coming here he was going to just buy at walmart instead. Fast forward to yesterday i wanted to call to inquire about something, so i call no answer at all. Literally all day. Today i try calling for the same reason. All day i call no answer i go in hoping to get lucky the store is a pigstye they dont have my item which is whatever. But it literally seems like employees for gamestop at low key trying to sabotage the chain from the inside i swear. You hear all these horror stories online about not being appreciated and everytime you go all you see is self entitled slob freaks with green and purple hair behind the registers. Its a shame. Lazy. Thats all it is. No work ethic.

Mermaid Books in downtown Milford, CT is so lovely! I had to stop in to visit this new indie book…read morestore. Kristen is so kind and welcoming. The store front is immaculate. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by that wonderful new book smell. The book options are excellent. Check out my pictures for the book and toy set-ups! Merch is fun and varied including everything from colorful bookmarks to Mermaid Book stamped bags. I'm glad I was able to find a new valuable read on a bookish day ad I stopped at my local library beforehand. 5 stars! Let's support local.
