It broke after only three or four days due to poor assembly. When she politely returned to ask about a replacement, the owner, Lucas, spoke to her with extreme verbal abuse, profanity, and personal insults until she left in tears. When I addressed the situation calmly, he stated that he did not care that he had made a child cry and continued speaking aggressively. This is not about a refund policy. A business can choose its policy. This is about basic conduct toward a minor and a customer. We have supported this store many times, but after this experience, we will not return. Families in Mililani should know how customers, including little children, may be treated here. Based on this experience, I would not feel comfortable bringing my child back into this store.

The place is small but packed with lots of interesting merch. I have zero knowledge about comics, games, anime, toys, cards, etc. but my kids' eyes lit up when they entered and my youngest couldn't leave without buying an anime plush. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Located in the Mililani Shopping Center. LOTS of parking. Support local businesses.

Sadly we don't have many bookstores on the island, there is of course Barnes and Noble, Bookoff, bookends, and few other stores. After Borders closed, we don't have many places to go to buy brand new books except for Walmart or Target. However, there are many good finds here and a chance to give some used books/media/toys a new home. The staff here are very nice, though of course they don't have a system catalog here. But that's part of the fun, the treasure hunting fun. You never know what you may find. Bookoff also has a buyback counter, where you can sell your used movies, books, etc. but just be aware they are like the old saying where they only offer pennies on the dollar. So you won't make a lot of money selling here. But if you just want to get rid of stuff and make some money, this may be a good option for you.

The owner greeted me right away with that warm, aloha spirit energy. No attitude, no long drawn-out process. She got straight to scanning my old dusty books while I waited, and when she was done, she texted me -- yes, texted me -- to let me know. Walked up, got my receipt, got my quote. Super professional, super smooth. Here's the best part: while I was waiting, I browsed around and found three gifts for my grandchildren that I knew they'd love. So in one trip I freed up a ton of space at home from books that had been taking up way too much room and knocked out some gift shopping. Win-win-win! The whole setup is easy too -- rolled the carts right from my car into the store, no stress. My friend was chillin' in the massage chair outside the whole time, so nobody's time was wasted. I was originally just gonna dump everything at Goodwill. So glad I didn't. I'm already planning to come back with my old DVDs and CDs just sitting my shed in the backyard. While waiting in line a staff member came out and gave a free pack to everyone waiting in line as a thank-you! That was an absolute 1st for me and such a nice surprise. I like my phone and I am not ready to spend over $1k on another phone. I also have a business account that supports 4 phone numbers, right now I have 3 so I wanted them to put in the 4th in my laptop. He tells me they cannot put a number in a laptop, it can only go on a cell phone. I told him my laptop has a sim card slot so it can. He denied that it cannot be done. At that point, I knew this guy did not know what he's talking about. He acted like I interfered with his time since he was outside chit chatting with another coworker. Maybe someone else in that store knows about customer service, apparently this guy does not. I actually googled the pop up problem and AI helped me trouble shoot it. No more pop up. I'm going to the mainland next week, I'll have someone install a sim card for my laptop. I've liked T-mobile since I switched, unfortunately they hired someone too lazy.
