At the store, and single sales rep said they can only do it if bought in store (which was not correct). Contacted Corporate who confirmed they can and should do in-store and to simply request a manger. Second visit manager also said they could not. Either Corporate is providing false advertising and information on the process or the local GameStop is not following procedure /misinformed. Ended up trading in for significanty less since only 2 days left, and now we will have to reach back to Corporate who can hopefully reimburse the extra amount of have the store do it. If purchasing exchanging your Switch for the one, would highly recommend avoiding this store in the meantime.

The owner Kevin is there a lot of the time and he's super knowledgeable about movie options. First, the cafe aspect. Excellent coffees and homemade tea blends. They also offer monthly specials (on the chalkboard outside) that are often really tasty. Kevin is also a great baker and makes all their treats from scratch onsite. The cheddar jalapeño scone is our favorite but everything we've ordered is consistently good and there's a variety every time we visit. Next, the movie rental aspect. Basically it's your friendly neighborhood Netflix back when Netflix was mailing DVDs to people. $20/month for unlimited rentals, no more than 2 out at a time, and Kevin is quick to buy new movies as soon as they're available. They also have a mini private theater you can rent out for events like birthdays or to watch events like the Oscar's or Super Bowl. I haven't used that yet but it's cool to know it's there. Great neighborhood staple and one of those little businesses that makes you feel glad to live in a city. Strongly recommend!
