Picked a couple cards from their binders for my 151 and Eevee PC. Can't wait to visit again!

CREEPY GOTHIC STORE…read more.. Weird little store with unique clothing, action figures and odds & ends that conducts business in almost every major mall and have an emo and goth vibe. This store located in the Pembroke Lakes Mall, is like a mild Spencer store for the scary enthusiasts. They sell mini backpacks containing imprints of odd frowning faces or giant tarantulas. Dark gothic long pants with multiple safety pins and chains obviously not for the timid. The Pops action figures seem to be a constant force at these stores with always a tower of them floor to ceiling. A hangout spot for goth youth congregating at the front section of the store mixed with the helpful friendly staff that provided me with a 15% off in-store coupon upon my entering. The merch was easily visible in multiple sections of genre. Im gonna bring in some of my vintage Marvel action figure collectibles for an appraisal and hopeful sale. The comics from the 1980s were competively priced for their condition and rarity. Center store there was a display case of retro pinback buttons provided a quick flashback of the past. We got there early but ended up sitting 20 minutes watching 4 customers 5 including us have to walk away cause store wasn't open on time. Now benefit of the doubt maybe someone overslept or got sick. However being that this is the only hobby shop close to my area sucks this was first experience. Im a big collector of Bronze Age (1970 - 1986) comics and action figures. Sadly those old school shops are quickly vanishing and the Modern Age collectible shops are plentiful. This Cognizant Card shop was easy to navigate with a small room at the front displaying Pops figures and some large Anime figures. The rear room was full of Pokemon cards from 1996 - present including a grab bag case of common Pokemon cards for a few dollars each. There were several packages of various sports cards too. To my enjoyment they even had a couple bins of comic books. The employee was friendly and knowledgeable of his merchandise and advised he will buy select Pokemon cards from customers. This shop provides a 5% discount on all inventory for First Responders, which is a nice touch.
