Cool little store in the Broward Mall. They offer an array of old school comic books. Swoon!!! Remember those? I grew up with those. Of course what captures my kid's attention is the Squishmallows. Which seems off in a comic store setting. Lol. But it seems this Crazy Comics caters to all age groups with the variety of gifts in here. They also carry Funko gifts too. Love these funky gift shops that offer a variety of cool stuff. The staff were very accommodating as my niece got a medium Squishmallow and didn't have enough money to get the large Squishmallow. So we went back and they let her exchange the medium Squishmallow ($14) and pay extra for the large Squishmallow ($27). Easy peasy. Very nice and accommodating. Thanks for doing that for my niece. She was very happy about that!

This store is filled with thoughtful yet affordable gifts and charming novelties that will be perfect for everyone on your list whether you're shopping for a birthday, anniversary, or just looking to treat yourself. Gifts are arranged in the categories of viral candy, bath and body, toys, accessories, sports fan, men's gifts, party supplies, new arrivals, stationary, jewelry, home and outdoor living. I found all of my favorite brands like Spartina 449, Vera Bradley, Strawflower, Scout, and Bogg bags. They had beautiful clothing for daytime as well as comfy sleep wear. I especially enjoyed looking through the gifts tailored to the home chef and pet lover. The toys and games section was filled with unique finds that would be treasured. Not to mention the delicate and beautiful jewelry sure to bring a sparkle to the eye. I also loved their vast selection of Owala water bottles. One of the highlights of shopping at Gifts and More is the ever-changing array of seasonal items. Whether it's festive holiday decorations, charming springtime accessories, or cozy winter essentials, the store captures the spirit of each season, making it a joy to visit year-round. From whimsical stationery to unique home decor pieces, every shelf and display is filled with carefully chosen treasures. They are having a big end of the season sale so take advantage of the discounts. All of the Christmas items are discounted and they still had a good selection of 50 percent off Hallmark ornaments. The exquisite and curated selection of items offered here will become your go-to spot for special occasions. With its unique selection, friendly staff, and commitment to quality, it's a destination that elevates the gift-shopping experience. Whether you're searching for a unique present or simply want to indulge in a bit of retail therapy, this store is a must-visit.

When I pulled up their front porch was filled with the most delightful array of gifts. I started out Christmas shopping but there were so many things I wanted for myself too. I ended up purchasing several items at a steep discount including a Vera Bradley straw hat for only $5, gorgeous artisan necklaces for family Christmas presents, some Christmas decorations, a gift for a friends upcoming wedding, and finally a few Cat's Meow Village buildings including area landmark buildings, the New River Inn and the Bonnet House, for my collection. I started accidentally collecting them when I purchased a few inexpensively in a vintage sale and now I'm hooked. I especially love the replicas of the buildings I have fallen in love with in Florida (in case you are reading this daughter hint, hint). Inside the store I was dazzled with the array of gifts. The front of the store was beautifully decorated for the holidays and there were several Christmas trees throughout the store. This store carries a huge selection of Vera Bradley, home decor, coastal decor, holiday decorations, jewelry, candles, bath products, pantry items, jams and jellies, and apparel. I loved the lighted holiday snow globes especially the pop up camper one but my all time favorite items were the Spartina Florida purses and wallets. They have a vintage Florida map on them that look like the one on the table clothes that people who visited Florida used to buy in the 50's as souvenirs. I am still hunting one of those table clothes and I adore these handbags. I had never seen these before I am in love. They are pricey so this is going on my someday wish list. If there is one downside to this store it's that there was only one register and the sale generated a lot of customers who were buying many items and the ladies were slow. They are so sweet though and the wait wouldn't have been a big deal if I didn't have to rush off to other appointments. While I waited I snacked on their complimentary doughnut holes and orange juice. I have definitely found my new favorite gift store. I have some difficult people to buy for and I can find something for anyone here, not to mention all the things I personally loved. With the gift giving holiday season upon us, this is the perfect time to discover this store.

I am surprised to say that I did not know this location has been here for quite a few years now but that is because I usually go to the location at the Pembroke Lakes mall. The location has a lot more room and you are able to walk freely around this place without having a fear of bumping into anything and knocking stuff over, especially since they have so many little and large Knick knacks that seem fragile or are pricey. It is a very well stocked location and it seems that they even have stuff that I have never heard of or seen at a couple other hallmark locations that I have been too. The staff is also very friendly and will help assist you with anything you may have whether it be finding an ornament or a specific holiday card, or even helping you order something from online to be shipped to the store. Young At Art is an immersive,…read morehands-on museum with a variety of interactive exhibits, art activities, and creative play spaces that encourage learning through imagination and exploration. The museum is reasonably priced and a great size. While it's not huge, there's plenty to keep children engaged. We've been visiting every two to three months for the past two years, and it's been fun seeing some of the recent upgrades they've made. The space is open and thoughtfully divided into different themed areas. Kids can enjoy a slide, a music and movement section, a grocery store and kitchen play area, a large swing, a few simple video games, painting stations, and several daily craft activities. They've also recently added a pretend garden where children can "plant" flowers, which is such a cute interactive feature. There are playful activities scattered throughout the museum, so there's always something new to discover. Everything is designed to encourage creativity, hands-on learning, and imaginative play. My four-year-old nephew absolutely loves coming here, and we've been bringing him since he was two years old. It's one of our favorite local outings. One thing I also appreciate is that it never feels overly crowded, although we usually visit during the week. The staff are consistently friendly and welcoming, and they're especially helpful in the craft areas, where they're always encouraging and willing to assist the kids with their projects. Overall, I highly recommend Young At Art for families with young children. It's a fun, creative, and educational experience that keeps us coming back again and again.

This was one of the most disappointing experiences we've ever had with a summer camp…read more Our 7-year-old son came home and told us that he felt he was being treated differently by one of the teachers, Tracy. As parents, we take our child's feelings seriously. A 7-year-old has no reason to invent a story like this, so we met with the camp to better understand what had happened. During the meeting, a woman who introduced herself as the principal called Tracy to join us. Instead of showing concern or trying to understand our son's experience, Tracy casually pulled up a chair, leaned back, and rolled her eyes while we were discussing a very serious matter involving a child. Her attitude alone was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. I respectfully requested that we review the security camera footage from the previous day so everyone could understand what actually happened before reaching any conclusions. Instead of looking into the situation, the principal simply waved her hand and said that if we were unhappy, they would refund our tuition. There was no attempt to investigate, no willingness to hear both sides, and no effort to have an open conversation between the student and the teacher responsible for the group. Whether discrimination actually occurred or not, the way this complaint was handled showed a complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and concern for a child's well-being. As a parent, that was deeply disappointing. There was another issue that reflected poor organization. The camp is located inside Broward Mall and advertises an opening time of 8:45 AM. However, when we arrived, the mall entrances were still closed. There were five to seven other families wandering around with their children, all trying to figure out how to get inside. There were no signs, no instructions, and no communication telling parents which entrance to use before the mall officially opens. Overall, we found the leadership and management to be extremely disappointing. A summer camp should provide children with a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment while also treating parents' concerns seriously. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. As an Asian family, we left feeling that our concerns were not taken seriously. While I cannot speak to anyone else's experience, ours left us with the genuine feeling that our son was not treated fairly. Every child, regardless of race or background, deserves to be treated with equal respect and dignity. I hope the camp takes this feedback seriously and makes meaningful improvements in how it communicates with families and responds to concerns involving children.
