The first time I went there I spent $100+ on a Wii, controllers, and some games, and the employee (probably owner- he knew the inventory of his store like the back of his hand) gave me a free upgrade to a better controller simply because it was my first time in the store. Recently I was there, asked for Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness, and he said that they just got a new copy in but they hadn't tested it to see if it works yet. I said I'd come back another day, but he was already up and running around to get it tested to I could walk away with it that day. Love this place, it comes highly recommended.

This place sells all types of video games - there's a whole aisle of them, if not more. I saw old game boy colors, figurines (saw some from the final fantasy VII Remake!) , and even wireless guitars from guitar hero. This store helped buy off old Yu Gi oh cards for me, and bought most of my cards (all except the Unlimited edition ones, which they informed me didn't cost much) from me for 30-40% of the original price. I mentioned I was cleaning out some old toys that we had at home, and they mentioned that they could buy them off me if they were of some value. Overall, John was really helpful and patient in explaining in layman's terms the process buying and selling things whether online or in person, which I totally appreciate.

This place's game selection for these systems includes the best of the best, along with the rarer and more esoteric titles, and the inventory moves pretty quickly so there's always something new every few weeks. The guy running the place, Adrian, is extremely kind and courteous - he is always willing to answer questions and provide info, but he's never pushing to sell anything and it feels like a no-pressure, comfortable environment for taking your time to browse. Not loose, not disruptive -- just walking on a leash like a normal dog in a normal city. It's 2026. Half the shops on this block are dog-friendly. Nintendo Store NY apparently missed the memo. It's such a fun setup. I will say don't expect to get anything near retail price on packs -- you're obviously paying market price here -- but if you have some money to spend and just want to test your luck, this is such a fun place to do it. I also bought a promo Snorlax card and they sold it to me literally at market price, so I was super happy about that too. No crazy markup! The staff is super nice as well. The guy who helped me out even recommended a few packs, and I ended up pulling an SIR Squirtle out of Scarlet and Violet! I think it's one of the top chase cards, so I left the store on such a high. Highly recommend if you're into Pokémon at all!
