I would imagine they do this with all of their products, so beware of anything you buy from them. The two options they gave me were (i) a partial refund, or (ii) take the fan down from my ceiling, dissasemble it, and take it from Westchester to Woodside Queens so they can "sell it to someone else." As you can imagine, neither was a good option as all I wanted were working ceiling fans. They refused to refund my money because they "had to make something on the deal." In other words, they sell defective products but won't issue a full refund unless they can make some money on it or sell it to the next unwitting customer. Even if the boxes look new and they are friendly, buyer beware. They sell defective products.
