The reason why I know about this place is when I was watching the FIFA finals in my small group, a family friend told me about this spot. When I was here, a lot of the stuff was gone to a convention. But there's still some good things! It's literally the first time I've ever seen some of these consoles, so it's super cool! As you can tell on my profile pic, I'm a Sonic fan. And the little picture of this place is Sonic 2!(GG version) And there was a Genesis!!!!! Literally my childhood dream since I was like, 7! I genuinely thank this place. It's good I thought for a few days if this was a good choice before buying. It's also good I didn't break the glass cabinets. They can also repair broken consoles! If I ever had an issue with a game they'd always work to reslove it by repairing or replacing my purchase. If you have old discs (Music DVD or Video Game) with scratches that skip they will rebuff it & make the surface look like new & have your disc run smoothly. In close I'd also like to say I've been impressed with their customer services for the past 20 years I have shopped here & will continue to shop here for life. The little boy behind the counter first of all started off being rude so I asked him what his name was and he said "im the other black man". Why he tried to turn to something racist i still cant figure out. I have a conversation with his older brother on the phone about 2 hours before I came up to the store and he was super nice. Then the little boy asked for my id so he could call the cops and get me for trespassing when he never asked me to leave. All I can say is stay away from there.

The mini golf course was very family friendly. Free for the 3 year old and only $12 for the wife and I. I'm pretty sure it was 18 holes and it was just really nice. You pay for golf at the comic book counter. I liked that they had some cheap comics for small children on a shelf down low where little kids can pick one. There are a few arcade games. Not much for the toddler ages though. There's a movie theatre room for about 15 people that you can rent for $15 an hour I think they said. Bring your own dvds and video games. There's private areas for events and there's a patio outside for those nice days at the park. I believe I saw on Facebook where they plan on growing a corn maze, but looks like they never planted it. There is no beer, but they told me they are working on that and plan to have some soon. It is also worth mentioning that there is no cell service at all in the building and no WiFi either. I forgot to try my phone outside. You'll have to leave the Internet at home. We had heard the pizza was really good but my wife and I both were underwhelmed. It was good for what it was, and it was actually better than what you would expect from a place like this, but it was not great pizza. Chicken tenders were homemade and the milkshake was great. I plan on trying the philly next. All in all, I like this place and welcome it to Fayette County. Update: after writing my initial review, I decided to take the family a second time, on a Saturday night. We very much enjoyed ourselves and the people were friendly. We had dogs and phillys. Again, better than average food and better than you would expect for an entertainment type family place, but not a restaurant I would go just to eat at. I really like the place overall though.

I asked the guy if they had GT7, he wasn't even familiar with the game. It is the most popular and highest-rated driving game for the system. He proceeded to tell me he could give me a quote and said they did not have the title in stock and it wasn't in stock in any of the area's locations. He never gave me the price quote. Two other people came in while I was there. One was trying to return/exchange a PS5 controller that he bought there 2.5 weeks ago (it didn't work) and the other wanted to buy a PS4 controller. The employee gave them essentially the same spiel. Offered them a used controller because they had no new controllers in stock. He said that everything was tested and worked. He then told them that he could hook them up and test them in the store to prove that they worked. He couldn't get either of the controllers to work and proceeded to hand out excuses. I think they both bought the controllers because he told them that they could bring them back if they didn't work with their console. I wanted to buy a older, used game. I took the box to the counter and asked to see the disc. They couldn't even find the the disc in their disorganized filing system. After that, I walked out. I'm glad I didn't buy it, because they were selling this older game for $17.99 and I can actually buy it for $9.99 on the PlayStation website. I was actually contemplating buying GME stock. After this experience and the incompetence of their employees, that is not even a consideration. I will not return to a GameStop after this experience. One positive: Despite their incompetence, the two employees were friendly.
