There was one employee who was standing behind the counter with a customer, while another customer was on his speaker phone with what sounded like Tmobile customer service. When my husband and I walked in the lady behind the counter looked up at us but didn't acknowledge us. We stood there for 10 minutes while she was scrolling on a phone. She wasn't talking to the customer in front of her...just leaning on the counter scrolling. Never once did she say hello, be with you in a few minutes or ask what it is we were there for. I get it that they were closing at 8..but we literally went in to ask if we could make the purchase or just come back the following day. I guess long gone are the days of simple customer service or is that now considered old school and obsolete. Will make my purchase elsewhere.

I just had to share this heartwarming experience we had at Sorensen Ace Hardware! My toddler is…read moreabsolutely obsessed with construction equipment--he spots every dump truck, excavator, and backhoe wherever we go. We pass by Sorensen Ace every day on our way to and from daycare, and there's one piece of equipment he's particularly smitten with, which we've affectionately named Bert. Today, on our way to feed the ducks along the canal, we decided to pop into the yard to check out all the machinery, including Bert. To our delight, a wonderful gentleman who was working nearby noticed my son's excitement. He generously invited us over and allowed my little one to climb onto the excavator! Watching him push and pull all the handles, moving the equipment back and forth with sheer joy was priceless. This kind man truly made my son's day--and possibly his entire week--by letting him "ride" Bert and explore all the controls. I didn't catch his name, but he is an absolute gem! Thank you for your kindness and for making a little boy's dreams come true. We can't wait to come back and visit Bert again! Highly recommend stopping by for anyone with little construction enthusiasts!

Instead of Sorensen's for a propane refill, I suggest Tractor Supply. Tractor Supply allows you to…read morepay outside after your tank is full, so you don't need to make 2 frustrating trips inside, like Sorensen's does. Also Tractor Supply was considerably cheaper, $3.69 a gallon or roughly $18 to fill a standard 4.5 gallon tank. Sorry to say, Sorensen's doesn't have its propane act together. Tractor Supply does. For whatever reason, Tractor Supply (Los Banos) is not listed as a propane refiller on Yelp. Don't believe Yelp.

Went & checked out this small smoke shop today. Decent prices, although it's a smaller storefront,…read morethey had just about everything you'd want & expect from a smoke shop. They've got 6,473 different pipes, bongs, dabs, etc if that's your jam. lol. I go to smoke shops for my vice ("Zyn" pouches) they seem to usually have better pricing than gas stations & corner stores. This was a decent little shop, fair prices & the girl working today was very friendly & helpful.

Do not ever see or work with Daniel A specially if you visit this Verizon store. I went in to…read moreupgrade my phone, and was told that as part of my upgrade a screen protector and case were included FREE OF CHARGE. The kid lied and charged me for both items and snuck in a box charger that I did not ask for. He charged me $57 for a phone case, $72 for a screen protector, and $37 for a box charger. He told me my total charge was for the remainder of the iPhone balance and taxes. He then failed to print me a receipt invoice (said he wasn't able to) so he emailed me the receipt which didn't get to my phone email until hours after I left the store and saw what I was charged for. When he set up the screen protector and case, he threw away the packaging which didn't bother me, until I went in to the store this morning to get things right and return the items I thought were free. I was unable to return the items because I did not have the packages for them. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH DANIEL A. However, Nicky who helped me this morning was able to refund me for the charging box as that was the only item left in a box. Again, if you visit this Verizon store, please do not do any work with Daniel A. I get they are commission based, but sell with integrity instead of lying to your customers!!
