I got there with somewhat of an idea of what I wanted but even 50% sure entirely because I haven't done much research. I wanted to lean on someone that knew what they were doing. We pulled a mono white and mono red deck. He didn't have exactly everything for either, which is ok. But I still wasn't 100%. I asked him if I could sit down and research some decks. Her said sure. I finally found a deck I thought I would enjoy and asked him if he had the cards. He then told me, "I've already pulled two decks for you, if I pull this one can you please purchase it". He pulls what he had and then I paid. I then asked for 4 more cards to add to the deck and he said, "Yeah but this is it because I got other customers". There was one other guy in the store and wasn't in a hurry. And he only came in at the end of the third deck Pull so it's not like he was waiting a long time. He later admitted to being frustrated but then told me there was no refunds. So I'm now out 200$ because that experience just turned me off of getting back into playing magic.

Absolutely we did). Tumblers, dice, dice accessories, shirts, games, RPG accessories. We loved it all. My husband and I came in to check it out around 4:30pm. 1.5hrs flew by as we shopped, sipped lattes, and played games. The place really got busy around 5:30pm with a bunch of gamers playing table top RPGs and Pokémon. There was a huge selection of board games that were donated from other players and were available to play on site. Definitely will come back next time we come to Lexington.

In need of some dice, found D20.. figured we'd give it a whirl... Cute shop... lots of Funko Pops, some Board and Card Games, decent dice selection... Magic Cards at the register... HUGE space in the back for game nights... Seemed promising... But, when we got out to the car and checked our receipt, hubby realized we'd been overcharged on the dice by nearly $2. They always have something new to look at, and the prices are very reasonable -- which is hard to find at places like this. We always make a beeline for the N64 games because they're constantly getting new inventory. They also have a huge selection of Pokémon cards and tons of tabletop board games, whether you're into Harry Potter, Pokémon, or D&D -- there's truly something for everyone. The staff is friendly and very helpful, and the store always seems busy in the best way. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!

I've had mixed to declining results and, with this last visit, I am done! The customer service has always been weak and now I'm at the breaking point. Because I have limited time each visit, I try to email a list of what I'm looking for in advance. Management either doesn't check their email or simply don't care. Last week, I called twice and unfortunately got the same person who thoroughly discouraged emailing in favor of coming in because "it would be easier" and "they don't have time to look." Easier for whom? Certainly not the returning costomer. Since they're close to the airport and I had time, I stopped in anyway on Fri. I spoke with who I believe to be the owner and he also wasn't too interested in making time to check books that he said he had in the back that were recently purchased. They were apparently getting ready for a sale the next day and possibly making a sale in the moment was clearly not that important. They made a copy of my list, took my name and number and said they would check. I made it clear that I was leaving Mon, today. As of 1:00, no call. So I called the store. The clerk who answered has no idea I'm talking about and was very dismissive, and the owner isn't there until tomorrow. They don't talk their employees anymore than their customers. So, that's it. I've had it with them and won't be going back even if they had the hardest to find book on my list. One of the worst shops I've ever been to for customer service. Shame on me for having given them multiple chances to do right.

And TTD has been where we go to get even more. We love the tables of cards that are easy to peruse according to cost. TTD also recently got a Pokemon card vending machine -- my quarters have never been so coveted by my son! This is a very large space. We recently visited with my brother in law and his kids, and he mentioned that they don't have anywhere as nice as this where they live in Philly. TTD has everything you would need for other card games, like Magic, as well as D&D and board games. And there are several tables set up in the middle of the store for folks to actually play games. TTD hosts several competitions too. If you're into nerdy pursuits, chances are TTD is your place!
