They tout a huge variety of beautiful rugs and Kentucky themed framed art. The items ranged from $25 for candles and t-shirts to several thousand dollars for truly amazing sofas and chairs. I love the style of this store with a mix of antiques and new items. The store contained many Lexington pictures such as maps of the city and horse pictures and signs. The style of the store was a hip rustic vibe and many new and beautiful rugs and furnishings. There was also bar ware and bourbon barrel heads and bourbon stave items. The place contained many cool tables, bars, shelving units and military pictures and tables. The owner Chad Tussey was helpful and gave me a card with the website. The website was well laid out with the items divided into categories: furniture, accessories, bourbon barrels, cover your walls, oriental rugs, lighting, stuff for your bar, Kentucky made soaps, candles, and food, architectural salvage, hats, shirts, socks, etc., grooming supplies, new relic finds, and sale items. Not traditional for sure, and I always find a small item that adds a splash of color and uniqueness to my home. Most prices are pretty reasonable. They also have an extensive vintage clothing selection. They have a lot of art and modern prints. They get new inventory often and do great Instagram sales as well. They do Venmo sales. And they have a ton of plants and planters; I wish I had a green thumb because their stock is amazing. Just today, I learned one of their plants in the store is reported to have lived with a couple for over 50 years. The owners are young, hip, creative, and very nice. They are taking social distancing and cleanliness seriously. This is in my top two or three shopping spots in Lexington.

I have seen other UK stores and this is the most reasonable in Lexington, Wildcat Wearhouse that is. I have been to multiple locations, this one is just closest to me! They always have what I am looking for. They always have basic tees as well as specialized tshirts for whatever is currently going on in UK sports. Football, basketball, everything! They tend to have pretty good sales throughout the season and when the season is over, of course they have even better sales. On average, during NCAA shirts are about 14.99 but I have even gotten a tshirt for $5 during off season. They also sell sweats, tops and bottoms... As well as kid sizes and 3 & 4XL. They have girls UK wear (pink) and accessories as well.

What a charming, lovely boutique gift store…read more As I walk up to the storefront while being in town for the Keeneland Spring Meet, I know this retail gem is going to be special. The large white ceramic horse and lovely bright flowers strewn across the front door are an instant giveaway to what is inside, not to mention one hell of a welcome to Ada & Lo. I am instantly reminded of the sit com "Designing Women" pretty much instantly. From the owners (what a nice couple!) and the staff and friends in the store, I am instantly made to feel like family through friendly conversation and laughter, suggestions on new product and a non-pressuring ease to walk throughout the store. This store is loaded with cute things to by for self or others....or self....or self. Earrings with big glitz that I can wear them in Vegas. Derby/horse themed housewares and hats. Functional handbags/clutches. KU items. Pet gifts. Childrens items. And not just lots of things to buy for self or others....or self....or self..... the store is large, well lit, well laid out and easy to navigate around. On the day of my visit, I walked out with two pairs of earrings and a small clear round bag with a black/white patterned strap that I am absolutely planning on bringing to Raiders Games in Vegas because it is stadium compliant, not to mention simply darling. An easy drive to be found on the south side of Lexington and a bit out of the blue amongst the strip mall in which it sits, but a worthy store to pop in and purchase gifts for self or others....or self...or self...if you find yourself in Lexington as I did.
