I went to this gamestop and It was a horrible experience. I was never greeted and they had the employees just sitting around talking and I was not greeted. I picked out 2 games and I went to the register for checkout. I purchased the 2 games and looked at my reciept. They had put the game protection on the games without my consent and NEVER talked to me about it and never asked. Gamestop needs to stop doing that and trying to put on their fees when this is not discussed. I will not be going back to this store ever again and train the employees for better buisness practices. I visited this GameStop just yesterday to return a game. when I walked in, I said I didn't have the receipt, but I had other proof that I had bought the game this lady named Ren said I don't know if you could return it but I could maybe do a trade in and I was like OK let's see how much you guys can give me. When I showed her the game, she didn't even take it to look at it she glanced at it while it was still in my hands. She did not assess the condition of the game properly whatsoever. I've been going to GameStop for years and I've never had someone be like that before when trading in games. she just put something in her computer and looked at me and said she can give me $12 for a $70 game that I had pre-ordered and was very new. I asked her even if I had the receipt could I return it and she said by that point no I could not and I was like OK that's fine thank you. I was very frustrated, but I did not say anything nor was I rude to her. I walked out out of the store. my brother walked in after I had walked out and saw Ren and her coworker mocking me in a high-pitched voice and making fun of me behind my back when I walked out of the store. That is very immature very disrespectful and very, very rude. Had my brother not walked in at that moment I would have never found out this is not how the standard of employees should be treating customers, especially when a good portion of your customer base is children visiting with their parents. I've never had a problem like this, in all of my years of being such a loyal customer to this company it was very disturbing and emotionally distressing finding out to hear that a grown woman was making fun of me behind my back because I tried to return/trade in a game. Ren should think about how to treat customers when in a work environment before getting a job anywhere I will be complaining to corporate about this because it was literally bullying because I didn't have a receipt. read more

Nice store I like coming here but the manager (????) with the beard or whatever it feels like he hassles you to hurry you out the door. I just want to look around not be asked ten times what I need when I'm clearly browsing. Asking once is ok but repeatedly is aggravating. The other employees are nice and helpful I like them all. The staff at GameStop is ALWAYS super helpful. This store is a little smaller than the other store I frequent, but it still has a good selection and it is well organized. As a parent who doesn't know much about current games, I always feel like the staff at this store in particular helps me make the best choices for my child, who loves to game. They also keep me updated on deals that are available. Customer service keeps me going into this and other GameStop's vs buying games at dept stores or online retailers. read more

5-STAR SERVICE. TWICE! I went in this evening, already feeling defeated, attempting to return a pair of headphones- No box, No receipt. God gave us Skung-don't quote me on name-and he provided us with some of THEE BEST customer service. With no attitude, with one phone call he was able to locate our purchase and we left with a new pair of headphones. This was my second visit and each has been pleasant. Thanks so much. Alright lemme tell y'all a lil bit bout this GameStop. For starters they have a fya selection of pop figures and other collectibles you'll go in there and make ya wallet hurt real bad potna. Then the staff is legit af. Skungy, Charles, and Ramone are like the Michael Thomas, Drew Brees, and Alvin Kamara combo on the field baw I tell ya what. They're extremely helpful and very friendly they make you feel like you're just shootin the shit with boys when you go in there. They also do follow all the COVID guidelines that are in place very strictly. Overall one of the best GameStop's I've been to and the only one I'll buy from. read more

Some employee at this location opened up the game I unfortunately brought as new and sold the product key and then shrink wrapped it back up. They had a clearance of a particular PC game I went in to buy. When I got back home and attempted to redeem the key on Steam I received an error message telling me that the code was already being used on another Steam account. I go back to the store and explained the situation to the GameStop employee. After waiting for the person to get in touch with someone on the phone who can make any kind of decision, all I would be able to receive was a store credit. I alerted the employee that I will dispute the charges with my credit card company if I do not receive my refund. He then proceeded to tell me "I will do it this one time, don't come back here and try this again", like I am some kind of crook that had nothing better to do than to swindle a game for $4.95. I have talked with GameStop Customer Service and no one ever got back in touch with me. read more

I went to game stop in KENNER on veterans Blvd the people that worked there looked miserable and there attitudes seem to fit the way they looked!
