I tried preordering man eater at this location and the lady on the phone told me "We close in 2 minutes!". I know GameStop's have to meet their circle of life sales and a preorder is part of that so I was surprised they were willing to brush me off so easily. I tried to get my preorder done over the phone and the lady said she didn't have time and there were plenty of copies available so I should come in tomorrow. So I came back the next day first thing in the morning. When I asked to preorder my game they told me that the deadline was yesterday and somebody should have taken my preorder yesterday. Purchased a PS3 as a gift for my mom. Got the warranty, they said you don't need a receipt as the sticker on the box is what they need. Fast forward there are problems and all of a sudden they need more than just the sticker. Which was fine, she exchange it and purchased ANOTHER warranty, remote doesn't work and has to do the same thing. Then the device stops working, taking it back with the warranty he calls his manager on the phone and asked about it and she says "they need to have a receipt they can't keep coming back and returning it" you can sell faulty products though?? I ask him why and they they said prices change which they should've made more noticeable on the trade in section on their website . Today, I visited this location to trade in some games for cash back & did the math online before hand & was supposed to get back $18. They have a promotion that started today that gives you the same amount of cash back as you would credit & stated "Not available in California or select stores.", so I went in to find out. I walked up to the counter and waited in front of the two workers (one that looked like an associate & the other who looked like the store manager) until they decided to acknowledge I was waiting for service. The manager choose to help with my trade-in & explained that I would only receive $14 cash back. I explained the promotion but he decided to "check his system" & still only offered the minimum return. Not to mention, when asked for my phone number, I presented him with my membership card, only for him to question what it was I was presenting, as he grabbed my card to flip it over and made sure it was for gamestop. Like, really? It's my Elite Membership Gamestop card asshole. Then as I refused to trade in my games I left and he was very rude and disrespectful as I walked away. He made me feel like I was stupid customer who didn't know any better. This is a horrible location and it isn't the first time I encountered problems with the manager.
