Purchased a PS3 as a gift for my mom. Got the warranty, they said you don't need a receipt as the sticker on the box is what they need. Fast forward there are problems and all of a sudden they need more than just the sticker. Which was fine, she exchange it and purchased ANOTHER warranty, remote doesn't work and has to do the same thing. I tried preordering man eater at this location and the lady on the phone told me "We close in 2 minutes!". I know GameStop's have to meet their circle of life sales and a preorder is part of that so I was surprised they were willing to brush me off so easily. I tried to get my preorder done over the phone and the lady said she didn't have time and there were plenty of copies available so I should come in tomorrow. So I came back the next day first thing in the morning. When I asked to preorder my game they told me that the deadline was yesterday and somebody should have taken my preorder yesterday. I went to trade in some games and did the math so my total came out to about $39 . So I go the next day and my total came out to $23.32... I ask him why and they they said prices change which they should've made more noticeable on the trade in section on their website . Today, I visited this location to trade in some games for cash back & did the math online before hand & was supposed to get back $18. They have a promotion that started today that gives you the same amount of cash back as you would credit & stated "Not available in California or select stores.", so I went in to find out. I walked up to the counter and waited in front of the two workers (one that looked like an associate & the other who looked like the store manager) until they decided to acknowledge I was waiting for service. The manager choose to help with my trade-in & explained that I would only receive $14 cash back. I explained the promotion but he decided to "check his system" & still only offered the minimum return. Not to mention, when asked for my phone number, I presented him with my membership card, only for him to question what it was I was presenting, as he grabbed my card to flip it over and made sure it was for gamestop. Like, really? It's my Elite Membership Gamestop card asshole. Then as I refused to trade in my games I left and he was very rude and disrespectful as I walked away. He made me feel like I was stupid customer who didn't know any better. This is a horrible location and it isn't the first time I encountered problems with the manager.
