I made an exception for the ones I bought because I try to never go into a store and not buy at least one thing. Always trying to keep the indie comic places around with one book at a time. They tried to charge me $130 even though I agreed to $120. I wound up paying $120. I brought the system home. turns out they did everything except what I asked them to do. The describe still did not read discs. I called them up to complain about it. The person that I was talking to on the phone nonchalantly said bring it back up here and will take a look at it. I hung up the phone. They had two weeks to fix the problem. They did everything except fix the problem. I disputed the charge with my credit card company. I easily got my money back because of the lack of interest from Galactic Gamez. They didn't even respond! Nobody else needs to waste their time and money dealing with such apathy.

There is some trade off to being able or willing to take a bit of a hit on things if you know its out of our hair right away vs things sitting at our home for possibly months waiting for it to sell on online resale sites. For my personal experience, this shop took care of us when repairing my PS2. They have always been awesome to my kiddo when we've brought him in to shop. He got more for some skylander figures, than he would have at other similar stores. Honestly my kid made money on the skylanders cause we had gotten them on super clearance when being phased out of most stores and we had held on to them and lucked out that my younger kiddo liked the game too!

They had a decent mix of new releases, pre-owned titles, and a few nostalgic gems tucked into the shelves. The store was a bit tight and packed, but it had that familiar GameStop energy--posters everywhere, consoles behind glass, and shelves full of gear.
