They are always willing to help and Jim is always available to give tips and help with painting or finishing miniatures. I've been spending almost every weekend in the store buying up all kinds of supplies and models. His model kit prices are by far the best out there frequently marking down many popular tank, figure, and car models down as much as 50%. He also stocks literally any supply or paint you may and will need. On the off chance that they don't have something in stock you want or need Jim is quick to get it ordered for you and must have all the connection in the shipping industry because special orders arrive lightning fast. The owner comes off as rather sleazy referring to his operation as the "shit show" and boasts about how he's going to give you a "shit show price". I gave this gentleman my business and now have deep regret as I've learned I could have got more from other providers had I taken the time to get further pricing. If you have metals you want to sell please do the homework and get several quotes. I would not recommend The American Bullion Center.

The Society was founded in March 1932 and is the oldest exclusively model railroad club in the United States. They maintain 2,500 square feet of model railroad displays of steam and diesel freight and passenger trains and trolleys, plus so much more. It was fun to see all the parts of the display - it really gives you a glimpse into the history of railroading. It is not easy to find, as the doorway is tucked into the left front center of the building and the society is located on the third floor with no elevator. The display is normally open on the second Sunday of each month, except May.
