They didn't sell a singular stylus and they only had an 8 pack that would only fit the 3DS XL (Ninetendo's bad in this case... for providing such limited support for the actual 3DS regular). We decided we would just purchase the charger instead and return it if it didn't work out. The staff working there neglected to tell us that we could ONLY return the item back to the original Game Stop when we tried to return it at Westwood/University Station Game Stop. No where on their website does it list which items you can only return to the original store. Also the charger that we got does fall out of the 3DS charging port despite the guarantee that the staff told us. Yet again this place disappoints me (see previous review of Canton Game Stop and the story of the horrible used iPad, it's a multi-part saga).

But for the most part, they recognize that a solid browse is usually needed before you'll be ready to check out up front. I admit, once I find my books I always (always!) take a right turn before checkout to do a solid walk-thru of the papers, calendars, binders, candy- everything yu need to have cool, pretty things on your desk or bookcase. And theyy get me every time. I ike that you can put a book aside to pick up and pay in store. Some times I'm not 100% sure that I'm buying the book I want, so it's handy to not have to pre-pay for a pickup. The selections on the tables up front are usually fairly interesting - mysteries, current releases, popular titles. There's always something there that I haven't read, or a great gift idea. Yep, people still like to give and get real paper books! While I keep a dozen or so ready-loaded on my Kindle, my first love are books that stay with you and I'm always gifting one to someone who I know still reads, or is learning to read, or doesn't know that they need to READ A DAMN BOOK! Because I'm only there to help! Go. Listen to a story time. Attend an author event. Or get a Starbucks at the counter and grab a table. There are many worse ways to spend some time quieting your mind.

When I happened upon the Barnes & Noble at Derby St Shops, I came to realize that I had somehow been mentally convinced that there were no more open locations. So this was a pleasant surprise! I would always find good books in the back issue bins and even find some decent stuff in the dollar bins. But my last trip here will definitely be my last as it's not worth the drive anymore. I went a few weeks ago and the selection of books was dismal and most of them are in really bad shape yet they still expect 8-15 dollars for some minor keys in the back issues. The place is also a complete mess when it comes to finding anything and the guy at the register is a jerk and shady. They were having a Black Friday sale and and they said no % off on "new" wall books and then proceeded to tell me that books that were in the wall when I came weeks ago were apparently "new" and that I couldn't get the deal they advertised and I drove 45 minutes for. It was much closer than the one in Quincy and had a much better selection than Norwood, so it was a no-brainer. While out earlier, a friend and I decided to stop in. We'd both had been wanting to see if there was a change. Plus, we were in the area as we had just had lunch next door. Best decision ever. Kyle is beyond one of the coolest individuals I've come across when dealing with various comicbook stores in my lifetime. I've been collecting since I was 8, and now, having just turned 50, it's needed. Attentive, friendly, and just plain cool. It was definitely needed and refreshing.
