Reset Games - All the Kirby Plushies!

Reset Games

Reset Games is one of my go-to game stores in Bellingham. They have an amazing selection of games…read moreranging from the earliest Atari games to modern console titles. Also, they have many different consoles there, and at good prices too! Sometimes they will have rarer consoles in stock like the Atari Jaguar or the Virtual Boy. They also have great deals on consoles. The prices may seem higher than market for the consoles, but that is because if you buy a console, it comes with OEM cables and controllers included, not 3rd party junk. For example, I got a VG condition non-yellowed SNES for $90 with all the previously mentioned accessories included. The staff are happy to accept a return within 30 days of a purchase with a full refund, which is very nice if an item stops working after a few days. As for trade-ins or selling, Reset Games will not currently accept defective/broken items as they do not offer a repair service. If you want to sell broken/defective items, go to Cosmic Games, as they offer a good repair service. The only slight downside is that the game prices are sometimes a bit higher than competing stores in the area, but their massive selection of games makes up for that. In conclusion, Reset games is a great game store. I always love stopping by. It's a must-visit for gamers.

I have gone there MANY times and got faulty items. We got 3rd party n64 games that are spray…read morepainted green with dead batteries so you can't save which we brought back multiple times. Every copy was bad. Every console I have gotten from there was busted and not tested properly. Multiple PS2 slims with dying disk drives. So, I went to their sister store down south. [over a 3-hour drive] Their staff told me they tested the ps2 they had. We drove back home and within 5 min the 1st controller port was bad and making the controllers loose connection and power. (how can you miss this if it was properly tested?) Also, that ps2 couldn't read disks towards the end of the disk. We have sold them a console ourselves and watched how they test consoles. They turn it on, throw a disk in, and if the disk reads, they just shut it off. There is no performance testing done, or everything I have said above would have been caught. BEWARE OF CONSOLES YOU BUY FROM HERE. ASK TO DO YOUR OWN TESTING BEFORE HANDING THEM MONEY, AS THEY WILL NOT GIVE BACK A REFUND, ONLY STORE CREDIT! They lost a customer that goes in spending 500 to 800 bucks a visit today. Their staff (dude with blue hair) told me they don't normally return consoles until I told him I spoke to someone in a higher position about this already, then, he wanted me to fill him in on what I was told so he could follow their policy better. Seemed like he was trying to cut me off on returns until I notified him, but I knew better already. Cosmic Games not only sell everything that Reset Games has, but they also do repairs, and their employees don't try to lie to me. They have made 1000s off of me and counting. Any issues I have had, they fix without charge as far as consoles or handhelds that I have purchased goes. Cosmic Games IS THE SUPIRIOR STORE costs more but WAY MORE accommodating and professional.

I really wanted to like this book store as it was on the way to a show that my best friend and I…read moredrove across the border to see. Sometimes we like going to porn stores together, just to explore. We figured that it would be a great way to diversify our shopping experience. What was intended to be something fun really put a sour taste in my mouth (no pun intended). From what little my best friend and I did see, there was a slim selection of toys, nothing special but nothing that would be a good generic go to either. I heard that this store had books which I was looking forward to, however, before we got to the section, we were rudely greeted by what I assumed to be the shop owner. I wasn't interested in staying that long and almost made my way out the door due to the really aweful damp and mouldy smell of the place, however, the female elderly clerk initiated eye contact with me. Being socially polite, I greeted her politely in which she rudely asked for our ID's. I understand that for the type of store that it was that ID was required, however, give me a f-ing break. Both my best friend and I look well into our 30's. I had my passport on me, however, wasn't in the mood to fetch the ID in the bottom of my bag since we were on the way out anyway. It was less about the request and more about how she asked. She was rude from the moment we got in. I also felt a weird creepy sense when I walked in which made me also want to bolt before our contact with said lady. The way she was looking at me felt uncomfortable and dirty.

Great video arcade. Nice way to enjoy and preview the movies. Good location downtown near record…read moreshops and super restaurants.

What a delightful place, filled with all you could possibly want! I first went here year ago and…read moreever since I've been hooked on the books. There is a wide variety of books in each genre and they even have some special editions (sprayed edges, author sign, etc). It is a little on the pricey side but an average sized chapter book is 13-23 dollar depending on size and popularity. The cafe is perfect for doing homework or if you just need a place to get out and read! Anyone who works at this Barnes and Nobel is always helpful, kind, and quite knowledgeable when it comes to books. Overall a great place!

I love books and bookstores were my refuge growing up. I could stay in the bookstore for ages,…read morebrowsing and reading. When the cafe in bookstore culture caught on, I spent even more hours in the bookstore. Then e-books happened and the pandemic. Cafes closed in most bookstores and many bookstores also died a slow death. I was pleasantly surprised to see a cafe (x Starbucks) here. And besides books, B&N also stocks games, religious texts (eg bibles which I hardly see in most bookstores in Vancouver now), driving maps and atlas (also an unicorn in Vancouver). There are also some lifestyle products and something for the audiophiles. Records and turntables. No more CDs. While there are no comfy armchairs scattered around like in the old days, you can still buy a book and read it at the cafe. I got a $1 coupon to use at the cafe when I purchased stuff and promptly used it. Quite a good cross promotion. Big parking lot out front.
