Charming place for all sorts of gift items, and much of it local. Hand-crafted jewelry, cards, costume hats and caps with animals and birds on them (I bought one with the Bellingham flag embossed on it), and what seemed like hundreds of lovely scarves (bought two red ones) and terrific T-shirts, as well as many games and toys found in shelves stuffed floor to ceiling. Lots of Mexican and Haitian wall hangings, too. Quietly sitting in the corner was Jackie who was so quiet we didn't know she was there until we asked a question, and who allowed us to browse in the very small space of the store. Great place to rediscover (if you didn't know it before) and perfect for special gifts for the season.

There isn't much else in this area of the neighborhood. I love how the store is packed full of costumes and accessories. They have the largest selection of witch hats I've ever seen. The items are organized in a clutter-y sort of way which I love. Kind of like my closet hehe. They had a great selection of suits ranging from the cheap packaged ones to a $700 classic suit that looked like Santa himself would wear. She was nice enough to give us an advanced boxing day sale of 50% off on the suit. She had all the accessories of course and my friend gave it to his father-in-law as a present. It was a huge hit! Now they'll have a Christmas tradition of dressing up as Santa for the little grandchildren. You must come here if you're in search of costumes, accessories and the like.

If you can think of it, they probably carry it. They had a whole aisle for boys with themes such as Transformers, GI Joe, Minecraft, Skylanders, Minions, etc..... Another aisle was for girls and featured Barbie, My Little Pony, Paw Patrol, Hello Kitty, etc..... There is probably something for that discerning child of yours. This is a BIG store, with high ceilings. So, expect to walk around and spend some time. Luckily, they seem well staffed so you can always ask for help finding things. Price-wise, they seem competitive. Their price tags claim that they are 50% cheaper than retail, whatever that actually means. But, I spent $30 and came away with everything I need to make my little girl's birthday fantasy a reality.

The person in the store didn't give us the time of day (even though there was only one other person in the store), ignoring us completely until we went up to the till. Once there I had some questions that she seemed annoyed to answer. I felt as though I was a complete bother to her and that she had better things to do. They not only had great quality tail jackets and vests that helped them look amazing, they also worked with us and our travel schedule to make sure we were able to get outfits for our husbands despite our travel and time limitations. They quick hem and adjust the lengths of items and have a great eye for making sure that everyone looks the part. Their prices are also very reasonable for the quality you get. I couldn't recommend this costume shop enough.
