They also sell Magic: The Gathering and Pokemon cards, if you're into collectible card games. There are cases filled with baseball cards (and maybe other sports?), NASCAR model cars, and other sundry sports memorabilia. I am not sure if the price on these is competitive, as I don't collect those items; the boxes and sleeves, though, were at a great price. The owner was friendly and courteous.

There was already a piece cut off so I brought it up to check out. Not sure if they handle it up there because no one was at the back and she proceeded to stare at me in the most condescending rude way . Instead, she could've simply told me how it usually works instead of belittling me. mind you this was at least a 10 second stare making me severely uncomfortable and never wanting to go back to a lobby.

If you have any questions they'll be happy to help. The store itself is clean and well organized. It's bright, colorful, and, of course, stocked with all kinds of great anime and other nerdy merchandise! If you are a fan of anime or know someone who is, you have to check it out. Keychains, figurines, toys, manga, dakimakuras, buttons, posters... you name it! And the prices are good too. The owner is always trying to improve the shop by updating the merchandise and even introducing new things like local art. They really care about the quality of what they offer and it shows. Needless to say, if you're ever in the area, take a moment to stop into the store and check it out. Any fan of anime is sure to find something they'll want to buy.

Ham Radio Outlet has several stores across the US as well as a hefty web presence. But here's the deal. Don't walk into one of the physical locations such as this one expecting a national franchise style electronics store. These physical stores look like an "old man" (ham radio speak) grabbed some garage shelving and threw some plain brown boxes of electronics gear on them. The have their High Frequency (HF) radios out for display and powered so you can poke around with them. Sometimes you need to use a rig to realize whether or not you are going to like it. "You mean the sub-menus have sub-menus???" So, what makes this store so great? A huge selection of radio related equipment you won't find anywhere else, not even the Radio Shack chain store the next door down. They also have super friendly employees who are hams, understand the hobby, and are more than happy to help. I went in with an article printed from the QST magazine archives on how to build a specific antenna. The salesman went through the article with me and made sure I had everything I needed to go home and start building my new HF antenna! 73, Matthew
