I can choose from a physical selection instead of virtual. They have it all and its close to home. Hello instant gratification. The real bonus isn't the selection and gratifaction. It's the prices and customer service. The employees will bend over backwards for the customers. Reserving games and movies to make the customer happy. The prices are so affordable. Fortunately, I decided to venture down a search into the more local small businesses and came upon this cool old school & quirky shop. I think the gentleman's name was Jim. Older dude that could pass as your nerdy techy friend who's probably collected every tech gadget since the original Tron came out. Told him what I was looking for but I gradually got discouraged as all he was showing me were the bigger style bigger sound units that are common for home systems. But, alas! With a little patience we revealed a new treasure: smaller desk top speakers! Minor speaker mesh stains on the front but super decent with a little TLC. He was super friendly and chill, even making an effort to find parts that could potentially be missing from this set (like compatible power cord). It also came with an amp box that I've got sitting below my desk table, which was a nice surprise (I keep it plugged in for the deeper sounds or just unplugged for more "regular(?)" crispy audio). All that for a really awesome deal; I think it was something like $15-30 or something crazy like that. Good shit, dude! Thank you. If you're looking for small speakers, I probably snagged the last set but I definitely recommend this place for any help with acheiving 2 things at once: reusing/upcycling any sort of old working electronics and supporting a damn good local friendly small business.

I came in…read morelooking to upgrade the PC i already had with some brand new parts i bought, and instead of slapping everything in there (which i now know wouldn't have worked), and charging me anyway, he gave me the honest truth which was that my computer [14 years old with DDR3 memory] was not only incompatible with the parts i brought, but wasn't worth upgrading/wasting nicer parts on it at all, and I was simply better off buying a new setup entirely. Appreciative, but pretty bummed out, I took everything home and he was nice enough not to charge me for his time. I go home, and a few hours later, DC computers texts me and says they have an extra model for sale that not only met my budget, but would fit the parts I still had so I wouldn't need to return them! They gave me a $50 diagnostic which goes towards the cost of the repair. I went in first thing in the morning on Sunday morning, and although they were a little behind on calling me back, they made up for it with the most exceptional service. Out the door spent $150 total to replace my charging port which was very fair and a turnaround time of same day before they closed. Not only did they fix my issue, but they also cleaned out my camera and so now my pictures can take clear photos of my ugly mug that I will be able to use AI to Photoshop now that I have my phone back! Great job guys. I really appreciate your service and will be using you again in the future.

Anyway, Salem Cell Store reprogrammed my phone so I could attach it to my carrier, all went perfectly. Until... A week later, I launch a factory reset without thinkint, OMG! I realized 10 seconds after launching it that I was wiping out my custom programming, and would have to do it again, what an idiot I was! But... To my delight, a factory reset did not undo the programming. this is next level code when then fixed that little problem. The factory restore include the programming. Great shop, and I'll buy my next ex-flagship used phone from them for sure! No more craigslist phones for me.

I walked in & talked to Jim (James) who told me he could replace for $45 and I could pick it up in an hour. Also said it was guaranteed for 30 days. I've had it back now for three weeks and it is working great. Jim was friendly, helpful, personable and a pleasure to work with - 5 star experience all around. I highly recommend trying this small business, you'll get better service and a better deal than ATT, etc.
