A lovely shop with a kind, helpful staff. Stock is growing regularly and the place is clean and welcoming, more so than many larger stores.

It is located in an older building right on the main highway just as it gets into town. It has a lot of promise. Service was friendly, and the coffee quality was good (I had an oat milk latte extra-hot, which was prepared well). I'm taking a few stars off for two reasons, though. The first is the food quality. I had an order of Avocado Toast, which was uninspiring. It was just a single piece of bread, with some avocado spread (I doubt it was from a fresh avocado) sort of slapped on. I didn't taste much in the way of salt, pepper, or other seasonings. If they aren't going to stock whole avocados, I'd suggest they take the avocado toast off the menu. The second reason for taking a few stars off, though, is the the atmosphere. There are religious materials for sale (meh), and I suspect that helped attract a crowd of people that, frankly, I'd rather not be around. The tables on both sides of us were talking about the glory of Elon Musk, forcibly deporting people, etc. Obviously a coffee shop isn't responsible for the obnoxious beliefs and conversations of their patrons, though I suspect that they attract that crowd through the religious materials they sell.

I told him what I wanted and he immediately replied, "No, we don't have anything like that." Then I gave him the part number and told him the Radio Shack website indicated they had them in stock. "Oh," was his response. This wasn't the first time I've had this experience at this store. The time before it was a 12V cigarette lighter style connector. That time I didn't have a part number with me so I just smiled as the salesman told me "we don't have that" then went and found it myself. He seemed unimpressed when I took my purchase to the register. This store would be infinitely better if they would build a jail cell style cage around the register area and lock the salespeople in there for the duration of their shift. That way I could browse around to find what I need without them harassing me with their ignorance. And who knows, I might even find another item or two to buy if I wasn't trying to get away from them as quickly as possible.

Cell phones, to me, are for incoming and outgoing calls period. The old phone still worked. He landed at Radio Shack, and I have to say the experience turned out to be quite funny. He comes home with the dead phone and says "They laughed when I suggested a battery! The girl asked how OLD the phone was and offered the choice of 4 available 'free' models". So we both go back to the store. I will not say everything was excellent, nor was everything I witnessed what I would call "professional", but, suffice to say, we chuckled our way through getting hooked up with a new phone. And it wasn't a horrid experience as I've had in the past. We were in the store plenty long enough to see exactly how they operate by phone. Another guy was busily trying to access information from... somewhere, so he insisted his customer was impatiently waiting for an answer. Problem... he didn't have a customer. Beyond that, we got a phone, had some laughs, and didn't feel too bad about the experience. It will not be my first choice for shopping electronics - never has been. But it's nice to know you CAN order antique phone batteries at this location, if you really want to. :)
