I was greeted by the owner Ken, a very cool and you can tell passionate person when it comes to his business. He has a very diverse collection of collectibles. But what impressed me the most about his shop was his 3D printing setup that he has, and the items that he and his worker have created. He showed me how the printers work and how they craft the items they work on for clients. So so cool!!! Seriously if you're in Ogallala and are looking for comic, fantasy, Disney, Star Wars, Star Trek stuff and so much more. Go check out this store. There is a giant buffalo bill statue out front that you can see right from the freeway from a distance. The trading post has snacks, drinks, jewelry, souvenirs, memorabilia, and all kinds of things to buy. You can breeze through it in like 5 minutes or you can spend some time since there are several items to choose from. They even have some displays set up with some interesting things, like a replica of a 2 headed calf that was born nearby years ago. We were there in July when it was blazing hot and humid, so we skipped the tour of the fort out back that you can go on. If you need to take a break and or want to get some souvenirs you should stop in.

I tried to pick up an ovulation test package today, and realized that they (and the pregnancy…read moretests) were locked up. I had to press a button for an associate to come unlock the display. After choosing what I wanted, she wanted me to give it to her to take to customer service until I was ready to check out. So, not only was I treated as a potential shoplifter when I have been a good customer to the local store my entire life, but due to the somewhat sensitive and private nature of the product I was after, I was also embarrassed by the exchange. So, I guess Jeff Bezos is going to receive some more of my business. Well done, Wal-Mart.
