I tried to pick up an ovulation test package today, and realized that they (and the pregnancy tests) were locked up. I had to press a button for an associate to come unlock the display. After choosing what I wanted, she wanted me to give it to her to take to customer service until I was ready to check out. So, not only was I treated as a potential shoplifter when I have been a good customer to the local store my entire life, but due to the somewhat sensitive and private nature of the product I was after, I was also embarrassed by the exchange. Live this store. Owned by a former trucker ! Always a place to park and most driver clean up after themselves here. Trash cans and take buggy's back? Yeah. As we drove in tho we saw some drivers out near were we were pulling in and they were corralling some ducklings... NO MAMA!!! Oh Nooooo. I tried to put the video in( yelp won't let me get to my videos) bummer. I told The inside folks that they should call animal control to help. They were snuggling up against the tires as drivers would come in! They were warm... so sad. I went about my water and windshield wiper fluid shopping. When I came out they were gone. Walmart used to be a fairly satisfying shopping destination. With the "cosmetic " upgrades going on, it feels more like going into a neglected Shopko or Dollar Store. The moving of aisles just to be changing the layout is a waste of energy, and I heard at least seven sets of customers complaining about the shopping experience. The phrase "clusterfuck" was heard several times. Move things back, clean up the garbage and clutter, and start stocking all the products you have been dropping. And do something about the crappy mobility scooters. (Right now there is only one that's worth a damn, and 5/6 that don't have enough energy to make a full lap around the store.) read more

Great stop. Very clean and well organized store. Friendly employees that go out of their way to help you. Clean ladies restroom too! Big variety of products, sandwich meats/cheese, even toilet paper...yeah! Went through the self checkout and the employee told me to wait a minute until she could clean it. I purchased two gift cards today, 8/8/20 2:57pm, and when I asked the clerk for my two giftcard receipts (to include with the cards when I give them away), he didn't understand what I was asking. A second clerk was there and he too didn't understand and told me to go to customer service. I think there was a language barrier. When I got to customer service, they said there was nothing that could be done. When I insisted, they refused to help me unless I got a refund and made the purchase all over again back in the register lines. The two women in customer service were extremely rude and unprofessional. They do not represent Walmart standards of helpfulness and customer service. I will never return to this Walmart. You will find items on shelves that people just changed their minds and just left anywhere, including cold, refrigerated items in clothing or hardware, You will think you are in a foreign country. Aisles crowded with stacks of boxes to be put on shelves, which I am sure would be a fire safety issue most places. They have very few checkouts open, so self-checkout is almost a given. The Somalian lady employee watching/standing at self-checkout last night REFUSED to touch the alcohol we were purchasing. Had to get another employee to remove security cap and authorize sale. That employee was obese and stunk. We have to drive 55 miles for this great experience, every couple of weeks. Walmart in Lexington, Nebraska needs serious attention by management. read more

This evening, I really needed tire repair and was in North Platte. Everyone was closed and the one open was unable because of the tire pressure sensor on our Beetle. No way would they touch it. I called to Lexington WalMart Auto Center and they said 'Yes, but we close at 8pm.' I had an hour to arrive and made it there in.30 minutes. They were busy doing 2 other cars and 2 guys working. Mike was my guy and we got through the process, with some great fortune. Mostly having Mike was the best part. Thank you sincerely for going above and beyond and getting me safely back on the road. read more

I'm not a big Walmart person because of some of their politics, but I do approve of almost all stores' willingness to allow truck parking for unlimited time. Their lots are more comfortable places to stay than truck stops. And the self checkout worked fine for me. A cashier was there to help, if needed. read more

I love this Walmart!! Lots of designated truck parking on north and south ends. They even thought to put trash cans nearby...nice! Very clean store and friendly helpful staff. Electronics dept is well stocked and the people back there really know a lot about the stuff they're selling. I always stop in at this store whenever I pass through on I-80 to stock up on groceries and cleaning supplies. So much less expensive than paying those sky high truck stop prices and a way better selection. Went to purchase a few items on the way home from a ball game and one of them was a four pack of alcoholic beverage. Clerk asked for my ID and I presented it, she then asked my wife for her ID and it was out in the car. She said she couldn't sell me anything because my wife didn't have her ID.
