The store itself was clean, not a stereotypical LCS with a musty smell. Yes there were piles of HCs and TPBs, but nothing was dusty. All the new releases were marked on the shelves. Easy store to navigate, had a ton of HCs and TPBs on shelves, some nice older stuff I hadn't seen in a while. Great store, would be my regular LCS if I were closer.

It's a place you'd be more than happy to take friends or family to. Likewise the spread of products is amazing. Like comics? They've got you covered with new and used comics as well as trades. Like roll-playing games? They've got a full spread, with a particularly strong D&D selection. (And they also take part in Free RPG Day to promote the hobby.) Or suppose you want to defend the Mortal Realms from Chaos or the Imperium of Man from the Ruinous Powers? Well, there's a whole spread of Games Workshop paints and models as well. And then there's also a fine selection of conventional board games. Finally, they've recently started carrying other modeling supplies soo that you can get nearly all your mini-painting needs in one location. Not only is the selection fantastic, but if they don't carry something, they'll happily order it for you. This is true of both comics and gaming materials. Finally, they don't just sell the material, they also provide a community venue for gaming. Indeed, much of the space in the store is full of tables for both RPGs and tabletop wargaming (with terrain supplies as well). There are scheduled blocks of time for RPGs as well as for tabletop wargaming, and they hold frequent Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000 tournaments. A lot of things I purchase in there is either broken or just don't work. im a regular shopper in…read morethe store and had the first bad experience today with the elderly middle aged woman. i assume she's the store manager. she had a bad attitude when i tried explaining that I was looking for a cable and adapter that will let me use a ps2 on my hdmi computer monitor and she proceeds to tell me that they don't make adapters for ps2s that you can use a multi out to ypbpr cable. the adapter needed is a ypbpr to hdmi. treating customers like they don't know what they are talking about is not the way to go about business. also i needed something tested to make sure it worked and she was too lazy to even get the necessary items out to test with. now i have to make another visit because i got a ps2 memory card in there that has two corrupted files on it that i cant even remove because she wouldn't test it for me. id advise anyone going into that store early in the day time when she is there. other than that the other employees are super nice and they games in there are for the most part reasonable.

My 73 year old husband to several large boxes of books to them. The staff was incredibly rude and refused to offer any kind of assistance. He was forced to bring in heavy boxes and unload them into their boxes and then have many refused and forced to rebox them and carry them out only to find out that they would notify at some point if they would take them.
