I had an extremely disappointing experience at Peachtree City Eye Center. My 12 year old daughter…read morewas interested in contacts, due to the fact that she plays softball. After the exam we were told they would order her contacts and we would arrange a fitting in a couple days. I was never told on the exam day, nor prior to her contact fitting appointment, that me and my husband were NOT going to be allowed to go back with her! My husband who wore contacts for 20 years then insisted at least he be able to go back with her and the technician and Dr. Patel told us that their "policy as long as they have been open was to not let parents go back with the child for contact lens fitting." Excuse me!!! This is my child! You're going to take a minor to a separate room for 30 minutes and tell me I cannot be there!?!?!? We immediately said give us all our records we will take our loyal business of 7 years somewhere else. The receptionist told me on the way out that all eye doctors take the kids back "ALONE" and basically we won't find a doctor that lets parents be present for the contact fitting. Shame on you PTC Eye Care. We went to Senoia Eye Care and funny they do fittings in the lobby in front of everyone and parents are welcome!

I came in as a new patient. When I called to make the appointment, the receptionist could not have…read morebeen more helpful. I arrived on time for my appointment and was seen almost immediately. The doctor was through and answered questions. I like to order my contacts and eyeglasses online. This office did not seem bothered by that at all. They gave no high pressure to purchase.

Let's be real, no one likes going to the eye doctor. But when you must go, Dr Jen is the one for…read morethe job. She is unbelievably thorough, personable, and honest. She spent the time to answer many of my detailed questions with in depth answers and examples. She has a way to translate such complicated science about the eye in an informative digestible way. I'm so grateful to have found her on Yelp many months ago! Special shout-out to Emily! As a first time client, she was inviting and frankly fun to talk to. Also she helped me pick out the coolest pair of new glasses. PS- Dr Jen mentioned my prescription had hardly changed, so I wouldn't need a new pair of glasses. What?!? I don't think I've ever had a doctor not sell me on something. You got appreciate the honesty.

As a patient of several years, it was disappointing to learn that Dr. Jennifer Badaracco has left,…read moreas I always appreciated her excellent bedside manner. My recent appointment with Dr. Lindsay Eisenberg was efficient; however, during the exam, the doctor used her fingers to demonstrate slanted eyes while discussing dry eye and made a comment about Botox in relation to this. This gesture and remark were racially insensitive and have no place in patient care, as comments and gestures of this nature affect whether patients feel safe seeking care. I have decided not to return. Overall, the clinic runs smoothly, and don't forget to request your updated prescription at checkout!
