As we walked in the young woman was at the door to greet us and even tell us about their food and a little about the city Abilene, and that they make their very own sauce and dough. Hands down we were more than impressed, we had a filling that we have not had in a very long time. So we HIGHLY RECOMMEND Tossed n Sauced if you are in or around Abilene; STOP BY AND ORDER THE SUPER PIE OR THE 100 MILE PIE. The flakiness of the crust is light and airy with the compliment of the Sauce you can not go wrong on choices. 5 stars is what we recommended

We ordered a child's meal for my aunt, who is currently going through cancer treatment and has not been eating very much. Desiree approached us and told us, in a rude and dismissive manner, that the child's meals were only for children 10 and under. We explained our situation and why we were trying to order a smaller meal for her, but Desiree simply reiterated the restaurant's policy and told us we would have to order a regular menu item. When we asked Desiree for her name, her response was again rude and dismissive. Rather than showing any understanding of the situation, she reiterated the policy and told us that she was writing a note for her manager about the interaction. Given the way the situation was handled, this felt less like an effort to address our concerns and more like an attempt to document the situation from her perspective before we had an opportunity to speak with management ourselves. We understand that restaurants have policies, and we were not asking for the policy to be changed. However, there are ways to communicate a policy with compassion and tact, especially when a customer explains that they are dealing with a serious health situation. We were simply trying to find an appropriate amount of food for someone going through cancer treatment. Desiree's approach felt rude, insulting, and completely lacking in compassion. The food itself was excellent, and the other staff members were helpful, but this interaction significantly impacted our experience. A little kindness, understanding, and professionalism would have made a big difference.

The staff went above and beyond--from bringing the kids pizza dough to play with, buckets of toys, and a soft basketball game while we waited, to surprising them with mini cupcakes after dinner. They were genuinely kind and welcoming. The food was excellent too! The pizza was fresh and delicious, and the salad with cranberries, oranges, olives, roasted red peppers, and house vinaigrette was outstanding. The bathrooms were clean, the service was exceptional, and this is one of the most family-friendly restaurants we've visited. The speed with which our food came was surprising. It's kinda like a bar but not a bar. Hard to describe. We rarely eat pizza so it took a bit to decide. Some interest choices on the menu. It's NY style so big slices. It was awesome. The cook was perfect. Seasonings perfect and the feel of the place matched as well. It's pretty much serve yourself outside of when they bring your order. I'm good with that. We had a great time a med group of 6. It's hard to get kids together anymore. We sat at a nice long high top table. Thin and long. I thought it was perfect. We pass the plates and go. Parking could be tough some times but they have parking in the back as well as along the street If your wanting to have a quiet low stress pizza either by the NY slice or a large. Stop in. Ooh and someone beside us got an amazing looking sandwich so don't sleep on them. I'll try that next time In case I confused anyone. I highly recommend this place. This is the SECOND time my order has taken over 90 minutes to deliver. The first time took 2 hours and multiple phone calls to receive the order. This time it has been 90 minutes and I still have not received the pizzas. Calls have been made and they just keep saying "it's out for delivery". The pizza is decent, but waiting two hours on a pizza is absurdity. On the phone call they're unhelpful and just divert the question away from a real answer. Hopefully they can get the delivery issue figured out soon enough, because I won't be ordering from here again anytime soon.
