Ron and Gal are some of the most awesome people I've had the pleasure of working with! Last week, I came home from work and attempted to open my sliding patio door to grab something from outside. When I tried closing it, the door completely jammed and wouldn't budge in one direction or the other. The handle also completely fell off. In a panic, I jumped on google and typed in "24 hour sliding patio door repair" when this company showed up as a top listing. I gave Ron a call and he said he'd have someone show up the next day! The next day, Gal showed up and started working on our jammed door. To be honest, I felt bad for him because it was cold and late in the evening. He came back with Ron a few days later to install a new handle and rollers. There was a problem with my latch and Ron said, I'd like to replace the entire latch assembly for you free of charge, because we want the job done right and we want to leave you satisfied with our work." Wow! That's an example of stellar customer service. Any other big name repair company would have just left it as is/charged extra to fix it. He and Gal came to replace the latch assembly and my once very old noisy sliding door now works like it's brand new! The price for services provided was very reasonable and yet another example of why it's important to support small businesses. These guys know what it means to get the job done right the first time, all the while providing customer service that's second to none! Wow. I was in a bind on a Friday afternoon. My wife pulled down our attic stairs to stow some pool equipment for the winter and while she did so, the spring and brackets supporting the hatch broke off. I have a broken neck and can't hardly tie my shoes at the moment so I called around. All I could find were garage door companies. Each company I spoke to said they couldn't fix the problem. I called Galron Corp and left a message. Within 15 minutes Ron called me back and offered to take a look. He arrived within 10 minutes and told me he had never done this type of repair before but offered to try. I was in no position to turn him down. Ron grabbed a ladder and tools and got to work figuring it out and ultimately fixed it. I can't say that I've ever experienced this kind of service. Ron refused a tip on top of the service call charge, which was extremely reasonable to begin with. I do most of my own handyman work myself. Due to my current circumstance, I was helpless. Again, he was great with communication (called when the ordered parts arrived, confirmed appointment timeframe), prompt & professional, educated me on the life expectancy of my patio door. Absolutely loving these 60 degree days with my patio door open! I asked about the weather stripping on my garage door. He evaluated the door, made a minor adjustment, told me to keep an eye out over the next few weeks to see if the water continues to creep in, and provided an estimate should I need to move forward with replacement. Moved back into my home in Crete which had been a rental property. Needed a garage door opener installed which I had purchased for my tenant, which he couldn't install. Called another vendor who refused to install unless I bought an opener from him. Then called Ron; he came out later that afternoon and installed the opener in two hours for a reasonable price. He was very helpful and courteous; enlightening me about the benefits of the opener I had versus the needs of the door system. He informed me my springs were adequate for now, but may require replacement with a stronger spring at some point. My garage door would not open and close for some reason so called Galron (referred to them from a friend). They figured out there was an attempted break in which bent to top part so it wouldn't slide on the track properly.
