Gallucci Winery is close to home in Stouffville. When driving into the Country estate like setting, I was impressed. This is probably one of the nicest vineyard in the area! The Italian Courtyard from entrance is perfect as a backdrop for wedding and special occasions! Wine tasting charge is waived with purchases. So we ended up buying a bottle or 2. A little pricey for VQA Ontario but it is good to support local business.

This is my favourite Winery in Stouffville with an awesome patio, great food, as well as frozen home made take-aways. This family run winery serves up some unique blends of wines and home cooked pastas from scratch. I perfer their cream sauce more than tomato sauce. They also have some decent pizza. The environment is very relaxing, and there is a cute Fiat at the front to take photos of. If you don't want to commit, just for a wine tasting session and see if you like it. Either way, cannot go wrong with some local wine!

I just got back from the most enjoyable and delicious lunch at Galluci Winery in Stouffville. This restaurant is truly a hidden gem and worth the short drive from Newmarket. The owner and waitstaff were pleasant friendly and attentive. The food was delicious fresh and the portions were huge. I didn't drink any of the wine but my friends did and they said it was very good.I highly recommend it for a memorable and delicious lunch ( unfortunately they are not open for dinner) try it ; you won't be sorry ... and you can thank me later. Please note that reservations are required at all times no walk ins

The owner of this winery is spectacular he takes the time to explain his wines and makes you feel like you're at home If you're in Toronto this is a must see The winds are like no other wines in the world

We were so late (I can't even begin to explain...) but Mackenzie was patient and happy to see us when we finally arrived. He was very approachable and laid back. Did I mention that I had actually booked the tour for the wrong month and Mackenzie made the tour happen on the fly when he found out we were on the way? Not that I recommend that others do the same, but seriously, how awesome is that?? We will definitely be looking for Mackenzie next year for another tour. Would love to do one in the summer... but leave the students at home! Thanks again, Mackenzie!!!!!

And the staff also explained how the bees work/Queen's tasks, and so on. We had a chance to touch the bees with our hands, but I was a bit scared to touch them. The staff also showed us the Queen Bee that they marked a sign Bright Blue on the back. We moved to another house for the mead process. This was the first time that I known of honey wine. It's almost the same as the wine produced process, just this time was coming from Honey. Before we stepped out, there is a gift shop that we could purchase some honey products.

They were very easy to work with, including responding to any questions that I had immediately. The favors were a hit at the wedding, especially since it came in cute packaging that included a honey dipper and a little message. They're quite far from where we are, but we had a nice road trip to Oak Ridges on a Saturday morning. It's a small farm that you may miss while driving on Leslie Street. We spoke to the gentleman who also introduced us to mead. I had never heard of it. We were able to try a few flavors and ended up buying a bottle to take home. For anyone getting married and looking for a favor, why not consider honey? Everyone likes it and it's (fairly) unique. Good for: honey, party favors

We went to four different wineries and were given a bit 80 minutes to explore Niagara on the Lake! After each winery our driver put all our bottles in designated boxes so we didn't have to carry them around the whole trip- so beneficial! We went to Pellitteri Estates Winery where we tasted their award winning white ice wine (top 100 wine in the WORLD), their red ice wine, a red and a white. We received a tour of their wine cellar, vineyard and learned about history of the winery. This was my favorite of all the wineries we went to- the quality was super high and the prices were actually pretty inexpensive! I bought their Cabernet merlot which was amazing! Wish I bought another bottle. Our second winery was Caroline Cellars. Honestly I would say I liked this winery just as much as Pelliterri- Pelliterri just had a classier vibe to it. Caroline had so many different varieties to taste! My husband and I's factories were the Pinot Cherry and Plum! So obviously we got a bottle of each. Our third winery was so pretty! Konzelmann Estate Winery looks like a castle right out of a fairytale! We were given deliciously cured meats, cheeses, crackers, and DELICIOUS ice wine truffles to pair with each of our tastings. I would definitely say their Peach wine was the best! The star of this winery was definitely their ice wine truffles. I wish I bought some- big regrets! Our last winery was our driver's pick and honestly it was pretty disappointing to end with Between the Lines. None of the wines stood out to anyone in our group. It honestly tasted like very cheap wine. Everyone on the tour wish we could go back to the first two wineries! Suggestion- take Between the Lines off your itinerary!! The time given to explore Niagara on the Lake was just enough time! We got a quick bite to eat at a nice pizza restaurant, walked to Lake Ontario, and shared an ice cream at the Cow. Such a fun time! I would definitely recommend taking this tour!

I couldn't have made a better decision. Our guide, Brendan picked us up the day we arrived at the bus terminal. We were nervous we might miss the tour because there was an unexpected delay crossing the border at the Peace Bridge. But I called the office and they assured us we would make it on time probably and if not they would help us to meet up with the tour. We luckily made it. Brendan was a great guide. He has a lot of energy and is knowledgeable about the local wines and the winemaking process. And he went out of his way to make sure everyone was having a great time. He took us to a very nice brewery, Ouest and several wineries including some extra stops of his favorites. My favorite of the wineries was Jackson Triggs because the guide there was the most knowledgeable and they gave us a tour of the whole process. The dinner at The Ravine was amazing as well. All of the vegetables in the salad are grown on the farm in back of the restaurant. I really couldn't recommend this tour more highly. Whether you're a wine snob or a novice you will enjoy it. If you do it book a tour with Brendan.

To our disgust there was mould, and not the blue cheese desirable type of mould inside many packages of cheese and in numerous spots in the fridge. But the real coup-de-grâce was the dead bug that was sealed in the block of cheese. That's right. It was sealed, by the packaging machine inside the plastic wrap. When we pointed this out to the member of staff there she informed us that that was common and was typical of the packaging machine they use. Having experienced such a disgusting disregard to cleanliness we dreaded to think what could or would be in the wines, so declined to taste any. We have vowed to never visit or purchase anything from Ocala ever.
