Every time I have come the staff have been really friendly and helpful. The course is beautiful and challenging. I wouldn't say it is too long of a course but you better have some accuracy or you will be in for a long round! They also take good care of it too. The greens are well groomed and the fairways are pristine. I don't know the exact details on membership but it is a good option if you live in north jersey. Always like coming here! There was a mini issue with our cart stalling going up hills, but it all worked out in the end. After a wonderful outing, we stopped by to grab drinks and food at The Hill Tavern Sports Bar & Grill. They were setting up for an event, but that wasn't a problem - staff were friendly and attentive. Food was great, but cocktails were a miss. For food, we ordered the classic burger, buffalo chicken sandwich, mediterranean salad w/ chicken, and the classic caesar w/ salmon. For drinks, we ordered beers, a pear drink, and the bacon bourbon mule - flavors were just off. Overall, my experience was great! I'll probably stick to beer or wine next time though.

But I just played it again and my experience was complete opposite this time. The course is clearly not being taken care of the way it used to be. The pace of play is absolutely outrageous. Came here on the weekend as a group of 4 and we were playing at an average to rushed pace and the group behind us literally started screaming to hurry up and were up our asses the entire time. It didn't help that management allowed them to tee up literally 5 mins after us. Then an old guy that worked there came out on his cart on multiple holes and told us to hurry up. I said we're not exactly playing slow so I don't know what you want from us. For the money we paid (which was way too much for this place) we should be able to have fun and play at a relaxed pace. This is supposed to be a peaceful game. I 100% will never be coming back here again after this experience.

Poor customer service and zero flexibility for an honest mistake…read more On 4/15 around 7:20pm, I accidentally booked the wrong tee time (4/16 instead of 4/18). I realized it immediately and tried to call the clubhouse, but it was already closed. There is also no option to cancel or modify a booking online, so there was no way to fix the mistake that night. I called first thing the next morning and was told "tough luck" and I would be charged the full fee with no ability to receive a credit or make a change. I understand having policies to protect against no-shows, but this situation was clearly different. I attempted to correct my error right away and was given no option to do so. A simple credit or rebooking option would have been a reasonable solution. Instead, there was no flexibility or willingness to work with me on an honest mistake. I've played a lot of courses, and this is the least accommodating experience I've had when trying to resolve a simple booking error.

Arrived…read morejust at the opening at 9am, a sweet looking older gentleman was waiting for us at the entrance. Graciously took us to our bases and explained how it is. He also took our orders for food and drinks. The drinks are DELICIOUS and AWESOME. The food ranges from burgers to pizzas and they have selections to choose from which is nice. I love how it makes golf such a team-building experience and fun and casual. It's like bowling in a way. Great great experience! Also it's around nearby facilities such as skydiving and bowling alleys!
