We were needing to pick up a few gifts that the nieces needed for their friends. So after our movie we went to walk around the mall which was quite small. I guess this is how malls look like in Bozeman. It's basically just one long strip, one floor but it looks like there's going to be an expansion in the future. Parking here is crazy especially when it's snowing and cold. We found parking but yes, it was quite packed though perhaps that's because it was post Thanksgiving and it's also shared by Barnes & Nobles and the movie theater. For being a small mall, it was kind of popping. Like everyone seemed to be there. There's a food court in the middle that juts out from the center walking area where the shops are. They do have restrooms as well here. It is kind of old...but hey it's better than nothing especially if you're wanting to shop in person. Overall, it doesn't have a lot of choices but at least they do have a few stores from clothing, Bath & Body Works, Eddie Bauer, some toy shops, etc. read more

It's 11:00 and the mall is full of people just walking around like it's a private gymnasium. Stop this lunacy. It's incredibly unappealing to shop here when this is allowed to go on. Are these people unaware that they can go to a gym without being burdensome to the people here to spend money? What is this pre-dystopian nonsense? read more

Regal Movies & The Famous Wok we're both great and the food was awesome. The food was fast & the server was very patient with my 2 grandkids & so nice. The staff at the Regal Movie Theater is always nice & always helpful in need. Thank you for us having a great night together! read more

Good food, arcade was okay, had a few games. Food selections were awesome. When me and my family walked down to the shoe place near Claire's, we were instantly greeted. Would recommend but the only good game in the arcade was Jurassic park. Plus, they didn't really have a lot of shops. Most of them for a pair of pants were 80$ . I was shocked. my family raced Pennie's and it did not last more then 5 seconds. read more

This is a very outdated mall - it's full of shops and stores which is rather surprising however - it's all pretty run of the mill stuff. Nothing note worthy - mall employees are nice enough, food options are a bit lacking but the whole place is just drab. The plus side is plenty of parking and a movie theater connected to it. I nice place to beat the heat and just kill some time window shopping if anything but nothing noteworthy or exciting to write about. read more

The smallest mall I have ever been to and even with the size being so small half of the stores are not occupied or in the process of moving. The pretzel store was highlighting cheap "day old pretzels" which is gross and I was highly surprised to see Joanns as the anchor store in a mall. Doesn't even connect to the movie theater next store. Could use a serious make over read more

It's not to bad has a lot of nice stores and lots of parking. It also has a food court the inside of the mall is straight but pretty long the only thing the inside isn't very wide so it gets crowded during busy times read more

This place is in serious need of a make-over. I realize that the mall business is tough, but with anchor stores like Jo-Ann's Fabrics & Crafts and Sears, you know there are funding problems. Many of the stores in the food court are empty and the people walking in the halls are not seeming to buy anything. Seriously, this is the ugliest mall I have ever been in. I enjoy going to the mall here but I'm also tired of seeing that annoying bouncing place full of gluttonous people near the bouncing place near the ear ring place where people get ear rings. Someone get rid of that bounce place in the image. read more

Small mall that has the basic stores most malls have. We go there for the toy store (they really do have some cool and unique items), the Victoria's Secret (my wife looks amazing in lingerie so it's a no-brainer), and the Macy's. They also have various local stores, some other overpriced chain stores (Game Stop, Eddie Bauer), and a couple of places to eat. It's your typical small town mall. Nothing great. Nothing bad. I will say that it's always pretty clean - that's always a bonus. read more

My daughters were excited to see Santa today! When we got there at 1:00, we were told noon is only for the weekends. Gallatin Valley Mall - Shopping Centers Near Me - Bozeman, Montana

The good news is there is definitely ample parking. If you're coming from a big city though, the Gallatin Valley Mall is going to be a real shocker. We drove by it half a dozen times before I realized that "Oh, that is the local mall." Unfortunately for us, we underpacked (which is so *not* like me), and desperately needed to pick up a few essentials. The mall has a small food court, a Macy's, Sears, Jo-Ann Fabrics, Eddie Bauer, Aeropstale, and a Victoria's Secret to name a few of the chain stores. There is also a very sizable Barnes & Noble and movie theater (which I believe is 6-screens) and a Fuddruckers in a seperate building in the mall parking lot. So it's not a great mall, but you can get what you need. So unless you need something that is carried exclusively by Nordstrom or anything from the Gap family. Before whining about the Gallatin Valley Mall, you have to remember that it's a mall in the middle of well, nowhere... And let's be honest, if you live in the Bozeman area you should be used to online shopping by now. read more

Of all the malls I have been to in Montana state, I have to say GVM could have done so much better. Though it is still better than the mall in Butte and Helena, it doesnt make any great improvements for the last 6 years since I live in Bozeman. I did property market research a lot and I didnt understand why the leasing peope there can not get Wet Seal to open its store there. Or why it is so hard for them to find good food vendor to occupy the spaces in the food court. (One time there were like 3 empty areas in the foodcourt for a loooooooong time and even when it got a tenant, they werent doing so well and got replaced soon). It's lucky to have good strong chains like Macys, JC Penney, Barnes & Noble, Jo-Ann & Sears. As for the food court, expect low, it's there for you when you are hungry and dont feel like going elsewhere or spend too much. The Bay restaurant is pretty good though, but it's more on the pricey side. The newest addition (2011) to this mall is Apricot lane, a ladies boutique, other than that, nothing really 'hip'. Which again, sad, as not ONLY GVM is the ONLY mall in Bozeman, it is also the mall where everybody from within 30 miles++ distance comes there to shop. But stil, while in Bozeman, take advantage of no sales tax thingy. And those department stores often have incredible deals that you will not find in other places. read more

It has been there since the 1970's, and it will probably be there for the foreseeable future. Since indoor malls seem to have fallen out of vogue, I guess we need to appreciate the ones that are left that don't suck. There is nothing especially great about this mall (other than the memories people make there when younger). At the same time, it has some shops worth going to, a couple of decent places to eat, and anchors the west end of town. read more

Needs a lot of work! They recently took out my favorite clothing store and have pretty much gotten rid of every good store. The only good thing is their Victoria secret/pink store. With staple stores like Joan's fabrics I'm surprised they still exist. read more

It's been updated! It's pretty nice! I love the new Victoria's Secret/pink store. The food court has yummy Mexican, delist pizza and Chinese food. There's great new stores going in. I love to go to the Barnes and noble drink coffee and read. The theatre is right next door. Pretty great mall. read more

This mall is everything you would want and more. The boutique feel is welcoming as I stroll down the storefronts. I LOVE how this mall is always so festive and involved with the Gallatin Vallley community. Additionally, the mall provides great customer service. Along with friendly greetings from the mall management, I couldn't ask for a better place to "shop in town". read more

With all the money in this town, you would think we would have a mall worth shopping at. People in Bozeman and the surrounding areas (those who care about fashion ect) are forced to travel to Missoula or Billings or in our case, another state all together. It's awful and depressing here. read more

Not the best mall I've ever been to but not the worst either. They definitely need to add more high end stores and remodel.

Hopefully someone can answer me.. why is this mall carpeted? We though it had to do with the winter, so people coming in tracking in snow, and water. So patrons wouldn't slip and fall. Thus there was a particular smell thanks to the carpet. It's a mall so there isn't much to say. Store / shopping. Not as big as the malls I am used. read more

Great Mall! We love the stores and in the last 6 months they did a TON to make it better! They have a cool interactive pad for kids to play on that our 2 year old LOVES!! We really enjoy the mall. read more

This is the most disappointing mall that I've ever been to... next to Helena's mall. You would think the city would want to bring in some larger retailers to get this thing going. Macy's is really the only 'major' attraction BUT this isn't the same Macy's you see in the cities. read more

Very average mall. Decent amount of parking. Not many good stores to check out other than Barnes & Noble.

It's OK. I do like all the stores in one place. But there are just too many people around for me. Parking can be an adventure but that's the price we pay for convenience. read more
