Had to go pay my respects to Ryno before today's game. His statue captures him perfectly. There will never be another like 23. Gallagher Way is a wonderful addition to the Wrigley Field experience.

Had an awesome time at Harvest Fest. We wanted to get out of the house on a beautiful fall day. Opted to go hang out in Wrigleyville. On this occasion there was a very good vendors onsite. We grabbed some yummy rum cake and was very impressed by the engraved business. Lots of vendors out here. We grabbed boozy cider with options for whiskey or rum as a chaser. Once in the plaza we decided to do the Wrigley Field tour. So worth the money. We had an excellent time in this area and look forward to participating in further events in Gallagher Way.

Always enjoy the holiday themed events at this location. Great place to relax and spend time with friends while listening to good music and enjoy a drink. Easy access and lots of places to lounge. Love the firepits! Great location to meet up with folks too!

We had a great time at this event the Gallagher Way, Chicago. We came up here for the Christmas event here at Wrigley Field. I had a great experience, love seeing all the decorations.

After leaving the game, we decide to hang here for a bit & watch the ending of the game just because why not. U need your game ticket to get access I assume u can go w out? But not really sure since we had our game tickets. Nice looking space, grass field for kids to play , siting area , you can grab some food & drinks & just hang here. There's a cubs store for some souvenir shopping , it's a nice area we enjoyed the rest of the game here.

Gallagher Way Chicago is a great addition to Wrigley Field. This is a park and shopping district right outside of Wrigley Field. This area contains a grass field for children to play in and statues of Chicago Cub legends for fans to take pictures in front of. Thanks to the Chicago Cubs for adding a little bit of calm and beauty to the city.

got to watch twilight movie for free! hold on spider loca! During the movie I became increasingly jealous of those with the paid seats. they got food and drinks and service. i would imagine that if I had paid for that, then I would receive the same service. gf did NOT appreciate the vampire fangs, but it was simply a harmless joke involving props. i wouldn't even say it crossed into prank territory.

This review is long overdue with the amount of time I spend at Gallagher Way. While sure, it's a great patch of grass to hang out on before or after a Cubs game, it's so much more than that! Firstly, the events. There is something happening at Gallagher Way multiple times a week that bring so much life to the neighborhood. In the summer, there are FREE yoga classes and HITT classes Monday-Thursday mornings. Free you guys! If there is a concert at Wrigley, they'll do a pre-show on the lawn of Gallagher Way before which is super fun. Over the summer they started doing movie nights -- this Wednesday is Dumb & Dumber and they've got Hocus Pocus on the books in the next few weeks! Again, free :) and they encourage you to bring food from neighboring restaurants like Big Star which builds a great sense of community within the neighborhood. If you've got little ones, they have 'wiggleworms' performances followed by a screening of a classic kids movie every Tuesday morning through October. One of my recent favorites has been the French Market that has been happening on Thursday afternoons (check the calendar for exact dates because I don't think it's every Thursday). It's the perfect spot for a date-night stroll with live music and adorable French vendors selling various wines, jams, fresh bread, macaroons, and so much more. In the winter months, they set up a mini Christkindl Market here complete with a ice skating rink. My absolute favorite part of Gallagher Way is that it's dog friendly. It's the perfect patch of grass to bring your furry friend. And since I live in an apartment in the city with no yard, this little bit of grassy space is so fun for my pup. We'll come here in the morning after the fitness classes have ended and I'll toss a tennis ball for him for a few minutes. *note it's not gated so not really made for this - but so far no one has said anything to me. Onto my final reason for LOVING Gallagher Way: it has WiFi! I was spending way too much money on coffee just so I could use the patio space to enjoy the glorious weather we've been experiencing. It finally dawned on me to make my coffee at home and walk over here instead. They have plenty of picnic tables and outdoor patio seats with WiFi. When I've been needing to change up my scenery, this has been a go-to for me. I even got to listen to the Maroon 5 soundcheck a few weeks back while working here which was pretty cool! Ok, I've gushed enough about this amazing little park nestled on the corner of Wrigley Field. But it really is great, so well kept, and a fantastic addition to the neighborhood with so many fun opportunities and events for all to enjoy.

I really enjoy the Christkindlemarket, however, I really didn't feel like travelling downtown to the market so I thought I'd check out the one in Wrigleyville. To my surprise, how small the market is. As a resident of Lakeview, midday, I had walked over to the park. I was really surprised there were very few attendees there - unlike the market downtown. I was also really surprised the number of merchants there. There were no more than 15 buildings meaning less food, drink and merchandise options. Some of the vendors were very friendly while some were totally not paying attention to the potential buyers. Positive items: reasonable prices, seating areas and the ice skating rink which opens up at later in the afternoon. Mixed feelings about this addition to the park.

We first gathered in the back where there is a bar and enjoyed some drinks, macaroons, and charcuterie. The space was able to hold about 20 of us comfortably. For our activity, we water color painted an alphabet book for the baby. Each page consisted of a letter and accompanying animal tracing, so our job was just to fill it in. I'm pretty sure the owner did all the outlines for us, which was incredibly impressive! The painting was so relaxing, therapeutic, and fun! I love that my friend will have this book to look back on to remember the fun day. They offer SO many fun and crafty classes here. Wreath building, calligraphy, embroidery, macrame, and that is truly just the tip of the iceberg. The total price was very reasonable for a private event in Chicago and the studio set up was perfect! Leigh was very professional, responsive, and listened my vision - she provided the exact type of flowers/color scheme I asked for. It was a lovely event and I cannot recommend Indigo & Violet enough! Perfect for any bridal shower, baby shower, bachelorette party, birthday, or any special celebration!

Maria, our venue coordinator, was phenomenally organized and knew the entire event back to front and so thoroughly that even our families were telling us how impressed they were with the amount of care she put into our wedding. We chose the REC because we wanted as all-inclusive of an experience as possible, and that was exactly what we got. They handled the food (we paid for them to do desserts as well), all dinnerware/tables/chairs, staff, decor setup, cleanup, and non-alcoholic beverages (including three different mocktail options), and having Maria meant we weren't in need of a wedding or day-of coordinator. We held our event in the atrium and loft and it was the perfect size for our 150 guests. The food was delicious, the schedule was on track, and the space was breathtaking during a snowstorm.

The first issue being that the entire hallway leading to my room reeked of cigarettes (both days we were there). This is gross and frustrating to encounter in 2026. The second issue being that the pillows in the room were overly squishy and offered no support. I called the guest services number at 2am asking if they had firmer pillows. The woman on the phone said they have foam and feather pillows. I requested two foam pillows be brought to my room. I was pretty surprised when they brought pillows that were as squishy as the feather pillows already in the room. Definitely bring your own pillow if you prefer supportive pillows! When I checked out no one asked me how my stay was or anything along those lines. Disappointed.

I booked here to be close to Wrigley since I have elderly parents and we needed a close place to…read moreregroup before the game so I paid a premium for a room - and the cheapest room came with a view of the park. Great, right? The photo on the Bonvoy site had a nice view of Wrigley and the view of the room they first gave me... did not. Very misleading so I asked for a better room and got it. I understand that this is 'the game' that you have to play sometimes but was disappointed given that I'm Gold Elite and usually this sort of game isn't played. The view *was* great - nice view of the park - you can even see the ivy, and of course you can see Gallagher Park which is a multi-use space next to Wrigley where player statues are. However, the soundproofing of this hotel is abysmal and they should supply earplugs and eye masks. There's a gap between the blackout curtains and the top of the window so there was a thin but bright light coming through as the sun came up. And then there was the 7am workout class. 7am ON THE DOT I heard crazy loud dance music and sure enough I peeked out and saw a class in the park. Listen, I know it's a city and sounds are going to happen but this was so loud that the hotel could - and should - take steps to mitigate the inconvenience of being awakened by a fitness class at 7am. Otherwise, hotel is fine. You're paying for the location - and you get it. Not for biz travelers. Good for families and folks traveling with pets. Room layout is practical - lots of plugs next to bed and by the desk - with included iron and ironing board, safe, robe, and slippers. No lotion in bathroom but shampoo/conditioner/body wash in shower, and soap by sink. What you'd expect (but the lack of lotion was weird). Breakfast buffet is also fine - $26 for cereal, fruit, pastries, scrambled eggs, pancakes, etc. Nothing extraordinary but the space is gorgeous and also has an outdoor area if you want to look at the park while you eat. Hotel could really shine by adding bedside earplugs and eye masks, making it more explicit upon check-in that you need to request a coffee maker or fridge in your room, and improve the light seepage on those blackout curtains. These all are easy - and thoughtful - fixes.

The space was perfect for us and didn't need a lot of decoration to make the venue look incredible. Spencer was very helpful throughout the set-up process and event. For the reception, we combined 2 of the provided tables together to make wider tables and had 6 of those, a 7-piece band, and a dance floor that fit all our guests in the larger section of the main room. The Art Gallery space next to the main room was perfect for the cocktail hour and could have easily fit more than twice as many people. However once we reached the top, there was no need to worry. What a lovely space this was to have an event. There was a reception area for drinks prior to the ceremony. The room was set up nicely with a combination of standing cocktail tables and seating to sit down in. The bar area was set up nicely and was well organized. I was so surprised to see the outdoor space next to the room where the ceremony was held. The room itself was beautiful, but seeing the outdoor greenery made it all the more magical. After the ceremony everyone retired back to the reception area for drinks. I kept trying to figure out where dinner was going to be served. While having drinks, the staff kept walking around with these amazing hors d'oeuvres! I had so many that I almost did not want to have dinner, they were that good. Well color me surprised as the same room we were in for the ceremony was transformed into a dining area, with a second room next to it set up for a band and dancing. The set up for dinner was nice and the food was actually pretty good, I mean clean your plate good. The staff did an excellent job of serving without getting in the way of things. And the speed at which they transformed the room was pretty quick. I am usually not much for wedding events but we had a great time here, in part to the lovely couple, but the venue had a big part to play in it. UNPROFESSIONAL OWNERSHIP Update: an indication of the lack…read moreof professionalism is the suggestion that I rallied my friends and family to leave low reviews in search of a refund. We already know we aren't getting a refund. The owner made that clear when we tried to remedy the situation with her over the phone. Nicolle was informed of the lack of AC during the event by a staffer who told me herself that she'd contacted Nicolle. Another indicator of her lacking professionalism is the angry emails she sent me regarding my Yelp review - no apology, just anger and threats to have my Yelp account blocked and shut down. She says we toured the venue 6 times... we saw it 3x. Finally, she dismissed the fact that her staffers were unprofessional and didn't know how to tap kegs/mix drinks just because my dad provided a generous tip. If you read the review my dad left (HJ), you'll see that his generous tip does not reflect his dissatisfaction with the service. He's just a generous tipper. I want to start by saying that I had an amazing wedding; definitely the wedding of my dreams thanks to my wedding parties and family. However, the service from the owner Nicolle was just terrible and so unprofessional. When it came to securing a contract or receiving payment, she was on top of the communication. It wasn't until after she met my now-husband and wedding parties that her friendly and responsive demeanor entirely changed. She was condescending and treated us like children. Prior to meeting my entourage, I asked about security and she said that we wouldn't need it unless we wanted it. After meeting my entourage, she told me that since my crowd is mostly younger (it wasn't) she would be contracting security for our event to ensure that we weren't serving alcohol to minors. What an assumption! Whatever age we are, we are paying her and deserve to be treated with respect. Her contract stated that a week prior to the event we would communicate any accommodations or other details for the event, including possible early drop off or arrival of decor. I called her twice and emailed her a follow up - never received a response from her except for her to tell me that she was unable to accommodate us any more - 6 days later & 2 days before my wedding. Her lack of attention to detail could have ruined my day. Bartenders who couldn't tap a keg (she knew we'd have kegs 6 weeks prior to event date) and refused to mix drinks, and her "industrial strength AC" that she promised didn't work throughout the entire 80 degree day and showed "service required." She refused to honor any of these mistakes and stated that there was an event the day after and everything was fine. Maybe a smaller crowd would have been fine but 80 people in suits and cocktail attire were drenched with sweat. Fortunately I had fantastic family and friends who made sure my day was magical. The space is cute but the professionalism is nonexistent and a HUGE headache.

We had ample space for 15 of us, with different "work zones" for our meeting activities throughout the day -- and probably would have still felt this way with double the people. It was spacious enough for us to spread out, but still feels cozy with the mix-and-match decor. Appreciated the option to have some light catering to sustain us, without having to do all the legwork for that - and Nicolle was attentive to requests during the contracting/ setup phase. For a corporate meeting - we challenged the wi-fi capacity as we had a lot of folks joining video remotely; if A/V is your top need, this may not be your ideal spot without some additional technology brought in. For a fully or mostly in-person workshop or meeting in a unique space, go for it! Looking forward to hosting here again.
