From…read morea random screw or plumbing fitting to a new shovel or light bulb, I'm constantly surprised at how well-stocked they are for the size of the store. Prices are great too -- often better than the big-box stores. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and it's clear they care about their customers. It has that old-school, neighborhood hardware store feel that's getting hard to find these days. The only thing to keep in mind is their hours -- it's a small operation, so sometimes they close early or aren't open when you expect. But don't let that stop you -- this place is absolutely worth planning your visit around. A true local gem and the kind of place that reminds you why shopping small matters!

We found Al and his team (David and Antonio, I think?) to be very accommodating. Not only were we in need of help on a Sunday, but it was snowing (so that means freezing cold, wet and icy), Al was located an hour away, and we have a long flight of stairs in our new townhome. It says something about a company that provides exemplary service despite that many potential obstacles. On the day of the move, Al's team was running a little late due to the weather, which was fine. He called well ahead of time to let us know and kept us updated on his ETA. Once his team arrived, they got straight to it. My husband and I directed while the 3 of them unloaded, non-stop for 2 hours. They laid a plastic covering over our carpets and the walkways they would be traveling (to protect the flooring), they were very careful in their placement of boxes and larger items, they assisted in putting together our furniture, and they were friendly and a pleasure to engage with. I can't say enough nice things about these guys; would definitely recommend them.
