It was very unexpected of them to be so kind and concerned about the quality of the job. So I have chosen to change my rating from three stars to five. "Badger Brothers Moving of Madison Wisconsin was the company I chose to pack all my stuff from two bedroom house and then load it into a UBF trailer, and I was impressed that they were able to get it all into a 15 linear foot volume with 8 feet width and 9 feet height. There were two workers and it cost me about $2700. I would recommend writing a check because then you save several percentage points from using a credit card. I was told I would get a receipt in my email but I never did so I'm glad I wrote a check each time. The men who did the hard work were friendly and clean and personable and respectable. The only major drawback was that although they said they would be using tiedown roping and that they would have on hand ratchet straps to keep everything from shifting, they did not use either one at all anywhere and so stuff shifted and caved in transit because the trailer's bulkhead is not designed to keep things in place and I told them that. So an antique wardrobe got a hole in its crown. I think I can just patch it but still it's pretty crappy that they said that they would keep things from shifting and then they didn't even try. It could just be that they used the stretchy plastic cling film tape multiple times as a replacement, I don't really know, but I think that it's bad that they lied about it. I'm hoping that nothing else is super broken but time will tell as I unpack. I am also hoping to find the little pegs that are needed to hang shelves in bookcases because no one gave me a pack of "don't lose this it's hardware that's important" do dads. Oh, and the crinkled rice paper lampshades that go on my IKEA floor lamps got demolished because of everything shifting in the trailer. Apparently they didn't think to take them off and collapse them to put them in a box. For almost $3000 they could've done a whole lot better with just a little bit more care. For that reason, I can't totally recommend them unless you watch them like a hawk the whole time."

The recycling process is easy: - head into the office - they'll open the garage door for you to drive in to unload your goods - place the item(s) on the scale - pay per pound for what you're getting rid of (if it's not one of the many, many free items) TVs are 35 cents per pound; the total came out to $14. It was a bit more than recycling through the city ($10 flat fee) but significantly cheaper than Best Buy ($25 flat fee). Also, the woman who helped us said they recycle in the US - the items are not getting shipped off as trash and pollutants to other countries. There's no appointment necessary for drop-offs, and they also offer a pickup service. In the office they have several refurbished computer monitors and laptops for sale at a deep discount compared to retail; if you're in the market for these items it's probably not a bad idea to check them out if you're flexible in what you need. Super nice people and you can dispose of your things in a way that is as environmentally friendly as possible.

Loaded up the truck - had to pay $30 for the freon in the fridge - but the broken coffee pot, the stereo speakers that don't work, and the lamps that don't turn on...yadda yadda ( u get the picture) were all free. I had a box of Xmas lights and some old power cords and coax cables in a box too. I pulled up and the girl at the window had two guys come out and grab everything , went back to the window and I found out they pay for the wires and the broken lights, so I ended up only owing them like $7.

Super easy to sign up online and get everything ready. I was able to sign up and move items in…read morewithin a couple of hours! The 5ft x 5ft storage is $70/month. There is a one-time activation fee that I believe is $25 and it includes a lock (if you need it) that has keys. Otherwise you can use a combo lock as well. When signing up you either need a insurance or pay for their plan which is an additional $9/month. The location is very easy to find and Gerry was super nice getting everything set up and explaining all the processes. He was able to put some bottom pieces to lift up my storage (since in cardboard boxes) since the floor gets cold. Gerry clearly walked through how to open and close the locker. They mentioned that they do daily checks on the units for security and will call you if something happens. There are also cameras dispersed. Overall, it was super pleasant and efficient experience that I would recommend to anyone looking for a space for storage!

That's really bad service and if you're too busy to call anyone back put that on your damn voicemail greeting. Chet's car care actually answered the phone and got me in the next day. For a simple fix that could have been Dutches business if they cared to return calls.
