It is downpouring out and…read moreI was going to buy my husband an extremely expensive coffee table book, taking my total to over 100$ but refused to say if they would replace if it was destroyed in the rain walking from their store to my car because they are too cheap to provide their customers with bags. What about the customers that aren't buying just books, you are going to make them carry all their stuff out in their arms? It is not like Aldi discount store, BAM is extremely expensive, they should be able to afford to provide their customers with bags so their products don't get destroyed trying to get to their car. I will NEVER step foot in this store again. DO NOT recommend!!!!

I was in here for a few hours today and I was tired of holding my shopping bag (I walked from five…read morebelow to BAM! and had a five below bag) and 2 books that I was thinking about getting so I slipped them in my bag and was planning on putting them back or buying them. I ended up buying a coffee and forgetting all about the books! I called the store and the employee who answered was pretty nice about the situation, and told me they were just about to call the cops so to come in tomorrow and return the books. All of the employees are very kind, especially the Joe Muggs worker, and speaking of Joe Muggs, I got a "The One Who Shall Not Be Names" frappe and it was amazing. Very strong coffee flavor! I don't know about the $6.55 price tag but the it's still an alright price. (Bathrooms were very clean) *I took off one star because the coffee is so expensive.*

Instead of helping me look, they all told me different sections to check. Now I work customer service I understand not everyone can hold my hand, But I couldn't find this book to SAVE my life. A simple 3 minute walk turned into an hour of looking for this book. After the 4th person blowing me off. I just went with my instincts and went back to the children section and boom it was where I thought I would be. I will just shop online for now on. ‍ Just needed this book asap

She knew a lot of the area and was able to recommend a great restaurant to eat meat pies (a local favorite and Natchitoches is known for). She also sold us some tasty little pralines (pronounced praw-leens in the South). If you're looking for friendly staff and a quaint, everything Louisiana store in a quaint little town, this is the place to shop. It's a little on the small side, but every inch of that store is filled with items for purchase.

(That is an excellent service to have.) There is a local authors shelf with children's books, some are even autographed by the authors! They have book related gifts as well, like stickers, bookmarks, and even pillowcases with book pockets (so cute). They have a book club and a writers club that meet weekly. There are monthly events like paint & sip, etc. Definitely something for everyone! I highly recommend The Twisted Bookmark as a great place to socialize and pick up books for yourself, family and friends.
