A classic neighborhood pizza and Italian food restaurant, worth a visit or takeout. Hungry after a day of travel to dog and house sit for dear friends, we decided to try pizza from Galaxy Pizza House. The gentleman who answered the phone and took our order was polite and let me know our pizzas would be ready in 20 minutes. We ordered the Buffalo Chicken and Totally Greek pizzas, and they were both absolutely delicious. The crust was cooked perfectly, and the seasonings were on point. The decor is classic pizza shop with good Italian staples, very clean, and the staff is friendly. Galaxy Pizza House is a must do if you are in the area, or passing through. read more

We figured we would give this place a try because we never heard of it/ordered from here before and needed something hot, quick and greasy after a long day. This place may be our go to now, as it didn't disappoint. Some of the best pizza we've had in awhile. Both the chicken broccoli Alfredo, and the mushroom and bacon pizzas we ordered hit the spot. This is my favorite pizza place. It just taste soooooo good and they make the food exactly how you want it. I'm picky with how I like my roast beef subs and they always make it perfect unlike everywhere else who basically lets what I say going 1 year and right out the other and make it however they want which gets it sent back and wasted my time but with galaxy it's right the first time every time. This is my favorite pizza place ever. I grew up barely going out to eat or getting take out, but I would get galaxy whenever the opportunity presented itself. My family has been getting pizza here since before I was born. I love pizza and have had it from many places in Fairhaven and elsewhere but this is my favorite Massachusetts pizza for sure. As an adult I typically make galaxy my first stop ad I enter my home town while visiting. When Boston was on lock down in 2013 and we were finally allowed to leave I headed straight to galaxy and then to my parents house. When I flew home from my last vacation I conveniently made sure I had to visit home and got galaxy as my first meal back. The family that owns it is awesome. They know all the regulars and treat everybody so well. The steak subs are amazing. The buns are grilled before the meat is put in. It never fails to satisfy. The pizza is amazing as well. The spinach and feta pizza is my personal favorite. It has never disappointed me. The French fries are great too. I've never actually gotten anything other than pizza and steak subs after all these years but I'm sure everything else is good too. They finally started taking credit cards a few years ago after many years of being cash only. The credit card minimum is $10. Go there. It won't disappoint. read more

Vegan review: I have to say I wasn't expecting much from this place but it was actually pretty great! I ordered the large veggie sandwich with no mayo, cheese, or onions. I had them toast the beard but not the veggies. I took it home and added my own vegan mayo. Wow! This was a great sandwich! So much flavor from basic ingredients. We were traveling late to Essex, CT from The Cape Cod area and needed to find someplace for dinner. We searched Yelp and found this place. We were not disappointed. Awesome pizza in an old school pizzeria setting that brings you back to your childhood. Me and my girl went for a pie and left very happy. Just two guys behind the counter holding it down and I was very impressed with their hospitality. Menu is what you'd expect with some impressive looking speciality pies. These guys are Greek so the Greek and Mediterranean pies are something I definitely will try. Everything looks pretty awesome. I even saw some balaclava on the counter! I have been going to Galaxy since I went to Oxford school. I remember going with my mother after school because there were half days on Fridays. Even since I can remember the food has been good. The owner of the establishment remembers his customers even if he hasn't seen us in a while, and is always pleasant. The price is not bad. As some others have said, maybe a little more than competition but you can't beat the flavor and quality that Galaxy has to offer. In fact, I just moved to NYC a few months ago and I got to say if Galaxy came here they would definitely be competitive with other establishments in the area. read more

I grew up in Fairhaven, and lived across the street from Galaxy at one point, so I had it frequently. It's the best pizza in town, if you ask me. I've never had anything from Galaxy that wasn't delicious. The place has an old-school charm about it, too. And it has been run by the same family the whole time, as far as I'm aware. Ok what can I say about this place other than it's consistent and delicious. I found this place after moving to the area and I've been 4x and surprisingly enough I had 4 good experiences. The food is always cooked in a reasonable amount of time and exactly how you order it. They are always very nice. Only negative is they are a little pricey but honestly I rather pay the extra $2 they charge more than competitions because at least you know your food will be how you want it. If they would lower their pizza price by like $2 they would be the perfect pizza place. That's the only reason they got a 4 star instead of 5 star review. read more
