I saw Lee for a new set and Tony for pedicure Lee was sweet, but my cat eyes are slanted...cat eyes are straight (up and down), but he already did a few, and I'm tired of complaining in general. Lee was a tad rough, meaning he used the drill bits fast and for too long... which causes too much heat. This makes me so sad to write this. I had a great experience IN the salon. Everyone was kind and attentive. However, one of my nail beds got severely infected. I got powder dip nails and shellac on my toes. I went to another salon to get everything removed so my finger could heal and no more possible infections. While removing my shellac, they had to dig under my cuticles because Galaxy nails painted on and under my cuticles. So I will not be returning. read more

WELL DESERVED 5 STARS. the quality and service of this place is amazing. I got just a pedicure, which was 30 dollars for the basic one. The time was supposed to be 25 minutes, but ended up being well over 40. When I say this was the best pedicure I've gotten I mean it. Well spent 30 dollars in my opinion. The atmosphere was very relaxing and peaceful. In my pedicure, they filled, cut down, buffed my nails, painted them, did sugar scrub on my legs and feet, a dead skin scrub, and much more. Everything was super clean, and the pedicure was gentle but effective. I loved it here and look forward to returning. read more

I'm giving 2 stars only cause my previous visit went well and I enjoyed my mani/pedi and was very pleased with the service I received. However, my last visit was utterly disappointing. Tran, was the nail tech that did my shellac manicure. Granted, my nails are very short so there wasn't much to work with.. but she completely wrecked my cuticles, didn't bring the paint all the way to my cuticles and was not thorough with putting on even layers. On top of my nails looking like garbage, she seemed to be in a huge rush and was very rough..(throwing my hands around after each layer, and slapping them to get my attention to put them under the UV light). Pictures are 5 days after my visit to get shellac manicure. This Salon is nice and I have had a good experience previously but I DO NOT recommend letting Tran touch your nails. read more

I just moved here from Missouri City and I am extremely picky with whom I let work on my feet considering I suffer from 2 really bad ingrown toenails due to a soccer accident. Anyways! Myle did an absolutely fabulous job and it didn't hurt and turned out so wonderful! The overall service was excellent and well worth the $$. I will make this my new nail home. Highly recommend! Everyone was very nice and it wasn't busy. My favorite part was the excellent massage and I also really appreciate that she took her time!! !!!!!!PLEASE TAKE TIME TO READ THIS.....I've come to this salon many times before and was always pleased with those interactions. HOWEVER, I called in on 5-20 and made an appointment for a full set and two pedicures the day of my 21st birthday. I had to tell four different workers that i already had an appointment for a FULL SET and TWO pedicures. We're an hour into our pedicures and they say "did you want to get your nails done also???" WHAT??? So they finish my toes and have me move to a different area, where a man gets stuck doing my nails 30 minutes later EVEN THOUGH i called in earlier and specified that i wanted Melissa to do them. I'm unsure of this man's name but I showed him a picture of the nails similar to what i wanted and the size and shape and he kept telling me to just go pick a color, because they don't have that color... So i kept saying i wanted something close to that color but would match with my skin tone and he just kept shoving different nail samples in my face to choose from but did not even TRY to help me out. He also finished my full set in 40 minutes because they were an hour from closing when he started. I wish i took a picture of the outcome but they were awful... they had waves in them, none of the nails on my left hand matched my right hand. My pinky's on both hands got wider towards the top whenever they were supposed to be "natural & tapered square". I left and paid 240 for the entire visit. I called in 5 minutes after i left letting them know i was not pleased and would be back to get them redone. The next day i came in after calling AGAIN to remind them i was in the day before, where three women came up to me asking what i didn't like and which color i wanted. I showed everybody the picture i showed him and they sat me down in his seat again where he came up to me immediately with an attitude, asking why i didn't like them. I showed him two things i didn't like about them where he responded "okay no problem we shave it down make it look more narrow" and i said "right... but also none of the shapes are even on both hands and this looks nothing like the picture i asked for" he continued to speak over me and argue with me because i showed him a picture and he couldn't "replicate the picture" and i didn't tell him yesterday that i didn't like something. I came in saying i wanted them redone, not asking for any hand out or problem until the guy came up to me basically telling me i was wrong for being unhappy with the outcome. SO I TOLD HIM I SPENT $240, FOR THREE HOURS HERE ON MY 21ST BIRTHDAY WITH AN APPOINTMENT FOR THESE *shows him my nails*. So then he tells me he can redo them& i told him i wanted somebody else, and then he continues to yell over me saying nobody else will do it for free blah blah blah, and so i told him "You're not listening to me. I came here to get my nails redone, and i want them redone. I don't want this color or shape so I'd like someone else to do my nails and i will pay for the difference THANK YOU" the rest of the workers seem to be pleasant. Melissa still wasn't the one to redo them, but she and a few of the other ladies are very sweet and quick to help. It was mainly the man that i had an awful experience with. How are you going to yell at a 21 year old girl for telling you she didn't like your service.. be professional. I left with my nails redone and A LOT closer to what i was going for but altogether not pleased for now spending close to $300 lol. Edit: I'm not the one to bitch about anything at all ever. I'm a server, i understand performing a service for the reward. This was truly just an awful experience especially on my birthday. read more

I came to Galaxy nails on a whim when visiting League City for a wedding. I chose this place based on reviews. I am so happy I did! They were fantastic! I showed up 45 min before closing and they were happy to accommodate me. One of the best pedicures I have had. I had the orange citrus with fresh orange rubbed on my feet. I also had a manicure with gel nails. They were gentle with my cuticles. I usually have to tell the nail techs to be careful because I bleed easy and then end up with sore cuticles for a week. She was very thorough and gentle I did not even have to tell her to be careful. I highly recommend them! read more

The man who did my manicure and pedicure was so sweet. Unfortunately the mean I cure was horrible. So wasn't paying attention since I just get a regular manicure. I was so disappointed and a few days later had so many deep hang nails because of the odd way he filed my nails (mainly on just one side). My daughter liked her technicians work and had picked the place so I chose not to at anything while I was there. I paid for a deluxe pedicure and he skipped the hot stone and wax, did minimal massage. I will not be going back. read more
