I would never book with this company again. Who calls someone an hour before their trip time to let them know "the bus isn't in service". Why are you waiting an hour before you're scheduled to depart to find out if your buses are working properly. Then to accommodate, you send another bus that arrives over an 1.5 hours late, with a rude bus driver. If i could contact my bank and get a refund i most certainly would. PLEASE BE WARNED. read more

We could not be happier with the choice to use Galaxy Luxury for our wedding. The entire process was so smooth and their customer service was so professional. We chose to go with a party bus for our wedding and not only was it immaculate, but it was beautiful and completely new. The driver we had was on time, so kind and helpful, and so efficient to work with. Unfortunately it rained the day of our wedding, but our driver went the extra mile to make sure everyone was guided with an umbrella to every destination. He was especially helpful to me, ensuring my dress did not get wet. I don't think he let one drop of rain touch me! Used this company for a wine tour and loved every Minute! They showed up 20 mins early and was greeted but a really nice driver, he was professional and very sweet. The bus was clean but the speakers in the back of the bus didn't work. The other issue I had was that they are affiliated with another company which was alittle odd especially getting 2 call to confirm from 2 separate companies Other than that it was a fantastic time! I had such a wonderful experience thanks to the staff at Galaxy. Our driver Mike arrived on time and made sure our ride was as safe and comfortable as possible. He even hugged as once we were dropped off. Super hospitable. The bus came stocked with cups, ice, bottles of water, a huge flat screen and a control pad for the lights and music. This company is a joke. They have an easy job. Get someone to drive the bus, and have the bus show up ON TIME. They just couldn't do it. Showed up 2 HOURS LATE and we had to change or reservations to a new location last minuet because of this awful company. Could only imagine if this was for a wedding and people had to miss the ceremony due to this atrociously run company. I am responding to Louis, from Galaxy. It seems that Galaxy was only interested in client satisfaction until they get the money paid in full with a credit card. Louis is not an honest businessman and his response is not accurate. Louis called me back AFTER I MADE 6 CALLS TO HIS OFFICE PHONE AND CELL PHONE, AFTER 4 DAYS. My cell phone did not cut out, it was his. Yes, he left a message at my office and then I called him back and left another message for him, my phone call #7, which he did not return. After that, I emailed mailed him and kept our communications documented in writing. I am sorry that I am "old school", when I sign a contract, I agree to it, and I wish Galaxy did as well. Louis, your "specifics" are not specific, they are a grossly inaccurate. 1. In the contract, it specifically said the vehicle "MUST BE MARS!!!" that exact wording, punctuation and all caps was put in the contract BY LOUIS OF GALAXY, not by me. On Galaxy's website, the Mars vehicle is white. Louis described it to me, and told me that it was white. I wanted a white vehicle for a wedding. 2. The ONE thing that Louis said that is true, is that the bus did NOT have a lavatory. The main purpose that I rented a party bus was to have an on-board lavatory. I have the bride, bridesmaid, groom, groomsmen and immediate family on the bus for a 30 mile ride from Valley Cottage to Central Park, where the ceremony took place. I wanted the lavatory for the wedding party and also for the guests if needed when at the park. We also had the bus shuttle us to the reception downtown, and then the wedding party took the bus for 2 hours after the wedding. Yes, the driver made stops as requested, at McDonald's, Starbucks, any fast food restaurant for the bride or groom, etc. to get off the bus and use a restroom. Not classy for Galaxy to think this is acceptable because Galaxy did not send a bus with a lavatory, as contracted. 3. A bottle of champagne was NOT provided. I asked the driver, he said he didn't know anything about that, no one gave him anything. I showed the driver the contract, which stated "PROVIDE1 BOTTLE OF CHAMPAGNE AS PER LOUIS" the driver apologized, but said they didn't give him champagne. I don't know why Louis is saying it was provided, it absolutely was NOT provided, and the driver confirmed the same. 4. The ice was melted when the bus reached us to pick us up, at the beginning of the trip. What kind of cooler does not keep ice for 2 hours? If someone rents a party bus for several hours, you should have coolers that keep the ice. Maybe the driver did not close the cooler. Maybe he never filled it up with ice for the ride and it was melted ice from the last trip? I don't know, but when the party bus arrives with no ice at the beginning of the trip, it is not a good sign that Galaxy knows what they are doing, or what vehicles they send out. 5. The sound system was working 100% if we wanted to listen to AM/FM radio. Louis told me that the party bus would have an ipod connection. On the Galaxy website, it was described as "MARS has all the bells and whistles including IPod connection". It was not provided. We asked the driver, he did not have it. The contract stated "Said replacement vehicle will be of equal or greater value". the vehicle we got was not equal, and certainly not greater value. I should have gotten an on-board lavatory. NO lavatory. Other things in the contract that were not provided: No ice, no champagne, no ipod connection, not the correct color. read more

Read the reviews before you book. It's a bait and switch. You think you're getting one type of bus with certain luxuries and they give you something cheaper and then never respond to your emails. I wanted to work with a local family owned company, so I guess I gave them the benefit of the doubt when it came to the negative reviews. Nope, should have listened... The driver was still yours and he was still unprofessional and extremely rude in how he spoke to our friend coordinating the party. And unfortunately, if Galaxy and the wine tour company work together, each are equally responsible for the experience we had. Sorry. Me and my wife had a very rough engagement where everything that could go wrong went wrong. After talking and telling Terresa about all of our problems she made sure to make it a great experience. Our driver Don went above and beyond for us and our family. The buses were clean and beautiful, the prices were great (better than anywhere else we looked in Brooklyn and Long Island). Lou the person we booked with was a great guy and easy to talk to. I have to say I have already and will continue to recommend this place for all weddings. Just wanted to say how unhappy I was on my wedding day with Louis the owner who started out out really nice but after he collected his money there was no getting in touch with him. He sent me the smaller bus which I did not want he said other bus crapped out when they arrived 20 minutes late bus was a mess and air conditioning not working. The booking process was very easy and they offered us the best price out of all the companies I had called. I spoke to Theresa multiple times on the phone and she was very sweet. I wanted to use this limo company for my birthday when i emailed them they told me it would a certain price per hour and it seemed affordable. When I called to book the lady i spoke to was very rude and not helpful. She raised the price from what the email stated but then as a favor said she would lower it. Thanks? You shouldn't have emailed me that price then. All she wanted was to get as much money from me as she could by trying to tell me my destination requires 2 hours to get to. I don't mind spending the money but, if i'm dealing with rude customer service then I would rather spend it elsewhere. read more

I rented out a 24 people bus for my 25th to go to winery out east. We had a BLAST. The best part was being able to blast music, put on the colorful lights, and just DANCE. It felt like having your own personal club for the night!! Garrett was my driver and he was amazing. What a gentlemen! He came with ice and water bottles on the bus and when he dropped us off at our first spot he asked if we needed him to pick anything up. He picked up some extra coke bottles and ice anyway. His was a great driver and made sure we got to all our destination safely. 100% would recommend. read more
