He told me he had left, but nobody showed up when I specifically told him that my daughter was in the elevator when he called me two minutes prior before leaving. Driver was especially rude and could hardly speak any English so there was a language barrier there. finally called the office to complain to see if they were going to send Taxi back after he left leaving my daughter outside and being late for school. called the dispatcher seemed like he didn't really care much about the situation on how to approach or fix it by sending another car immediately he just kept saying thank you thank you thank you in broken English . very unprofessional I will definitely never call this company again. Anyway, the story ends by me calling a bluebird 632-0909. They were able to get a taxi over here in five minutes and get my daughter to school on time. Thank you very much Bluebird. They're located in the train station very professional office and very clean vehicles. And you can actually communicate with them I'm gonna recommend all my friends and family and all new tenants of all buildings around me in the local high-rises to use Blue Bird instead of this company Union taxi I honestly think that they don't have the capability or the professionalism to run a good car service in this part of town. They're probably used to running a car service in the Bronx. Their cars are probably filthy inside if I'm wrong I'm wrong but you'll be the judge

An old man driver put my mom in a dangerous situation then scammed her by charging her card for a…read moretrip he never made. My 88 y/o mother was visiting her 84 y/o husband at Dumont rehab. The receptionist called this cab service for her. She wanted to go to her home in Brooklyn. Some old guy from this taxi service picked her up. He drove down the street then said " i don't want to go to Brooklyn", after he got her credit card. He then dropped her back off at Dumont. The receptionist called another taxi service. The 2nd taxi service took my mom to her home in Brooklyn. Mom had cash with her too and paid the second cab, a younger very nice man with cash $100.00. My mother told me about this horrific treatment by the old man from New Roc Taxi. I was appalled, very upset yet thankful to the 2nd taxi company for getting her home safely. A month later I see a charge on moms cc statement from New Roc Taxi for $85. I call New Roc Taxi and speak with a man who claims he is the owner; Luciano Serrano. I tell him what happened and about the charge and tell him to reverse the charge immediately. He says he will get back to me. He leaves me a cryptic message. I call back and tell him I confirmed with the company and driver of the 2nd taxi that his crooked old driver did not take my mother to Brooklyn, but charged her card. I explained that this was elder financial abuse and credit card fraud. I demanded that he reverse the charges immediately. Luciano gives me some BS excuse that the trip was $185. His website says different. He says the website is outdated. This was the first bs excuse this man tells. Then he tells me that the crooked old man told him that my mother said she only had $85.00 in her bank account so he only charged her $85. I make sure mom has financial means to get anywhere she wants to go. That day she had $400 in x4- $100 bills in cash and a credit card, not an ATM card. My mother would never try to negotiate cab fees or anything for that matter. She is not that kind of person. He saw what kind of person she was and he took advantage of her. He is no better than a predator. He preyed on my elderly mother being polite and frail. Shes 82lbs and 4'11" and just a sweet polite frail 88 year old lady who is worried about her 84 y/o sick husband. My mom also left a bag in that cab made of purple and orange sari fabric because she was so flustered and upset by what the crook did when he took her back to Dumont she forgot the bag. THESE PEOPLE LIED!! The DRIVER IS A CROOK. HE TOOK ADVANTAGE OF A LITTLE OLD LADY!! Luciano refuses to reverse the fraudulent charges. I have reported this to the FBI, the bank cc services, and i will report this incident to the taxi and limousine commission of Westchester, as well as the BBB and to whoever else will hear and investigate this heinous crime. Our elderly parents are a treasure. All elderly, just like our children are vulnerable and targets for the lowest of the low. Only the lowest of low would do something like this. DO NOT ENTRUST ANYONE YOU LOVE or care about to this taxi service. I encourage others who have had similar dealings to take the same steps. Read the reviews. Others have had similar issues amd with bait and switch pricing.
