Ornin picked up the phone right away, scheduled a technician (Erick) to come out quickly, and the price was very reasonable. Erick's work was excellent. The fact that the price for the glass plus delivery was the most competitive price only made the decision to go with J & C that much easier. The glass (tempered-quarter inch with polished edges) was ready within a week. The delivery guys, Joey and Antonio, were very friendly and took great care when bringing the big sheet of glass up three flights of stairs and in avoiding all of the hazards as the delivery happened to arrive when I had folks working on some problems with our floors. I was worried that I didn't leave enough wiggle room with my measurement of the glass and the three walls around the shelf but Joey and Antonio were able to squeeze it in without scuffing the wall paint and then cleaned the glass off for good measure. Great experience from start to finish. Thanks much J & C, the glass looks great.

He was super friendly during this back & forth and most often he was available when I wasn't, but he was able to drop by to do this "small" job between others. He realized it was a lot harder - he thought it was at ground level, not 3 stories up in a way that required him to hang outside another window in order to get the new piece of glass in -- but did it and made it look easy. He was super efficient, cleaned up super well after, and was just kind during the whole process. He even pointed out another window that was in a bit of a concerning state (mostly due to the wood sash, not really the window), and said he'd follow up with some contractors who could help with the wood. I really hope we do not break any more glass -- but if we do, IDM will be our first call.
