Okay, this is like the best ride at Legoland. My daughter and I rode on this ride at least 5 times when we visited Legoland during the end of July.
The first day, we ended up rope drop the Galacticoaster at Legoland. Unfortunately, when we got there around 10, it was down. We did wait an hour, and when it opened up, we were one of the first ones on the ride!
This ride's wait time can change between 30-60 minutes. We did end up riding this ride a few times during the evening hours when the wait time went down, and early mornings.
Legoland's Galacticoaster is a indoor space themed roller coaster. It's immersive. You get to view a preshow which is a few minutes, then you get to design your space craft which was so much fun! Since we rode it a few times, we got to make unique creations each time.
After you make your space craft, you then go to the ride vehicle. It is a moving platform when you get on the vehicle. Very similar to boarding harry potter and the forbidden journey in Universal Studios. There is a height requirement for the ride.
It was one of the smoothest roller coasters that I've rode. It has a fast launch and some mild drops. It's fast though and a lot of fun! Lockers are outside of the ride queue as you cannot bring anything on the ride. It is free 2 hour and you can use your phone to select the locker. read more
