They have a few games for the kids to play . They also did a little " winners " ceremony at the end of the two races . Sliders and fries were good . Only thing to keep in mind is everything seems scheduled . We were going to add another race on near the end of the party and was told it would be an hour and a half wait . Not sure how easy it is to just walk in and race .. could be why it didn't seem busy .

Miniland's Star Wars section is unreal. Seven huge scenes from the films, all built from 1.5+…read moremillion LEGO bricks. Death Star trench run, Hoth with walking AT-ATs, Endor, Mos Eisley. The detail is crazy and most scenes have buttons for lights and movement. It's indoors with AC and you can spend forever spotting little details like Ewoks and R2-D2. My kid was obsessed. They have a scavenger hunt type of activity where the kiddos need to collect stamps from certain areas and at the end they are gifted with a sea life bracelet. It can get pretty busy inside. I did love coming years ago and they'd limit how many would enter, you felt like you had the whole place to yourself. Now, there's just too many inside and everyone is rushing to be the first one to view the sea life animals. Overall the kiddos and I enjoyed it, and there is an area to touch the star fish, etc which is highly popular and a washing station. They have a tank filled with sharks, you see them swim above you as you walk through this tunnel. Time well spent with the fam here.

The best part of going to Legoland Water Park with kids is to have your husband be in charge of the…read morekids.....the whole day....and you just chill there and sip your drink. We have been coming to this water park the whole summer and it has been an amazing experience. If you come early, there are plenty of umbrellas and chairs to choose from. The water is usually warm and we usually battle with our kids cause they never want to go home. Our favorite part is the wave pool where you get to enjoy and relax on a wavy pool while laughing at your kids getting slapped by the wave near the shore. They're the ones who like being tossed around by the wave. We also like the water pad where the water squirts or creates multiple water arcs, and kids just run around and get wet. This is the place where parents can just sit or lay under umbrellas while watching their kids. We rented a cabana once when we had family guests from Texas. There was a breastfeeding baby so we thought, a cabana would be great, and it was. the server took us to our cabana and explained everything. You really do not need to go anywhere to get food. You just text your server what you want and the server will get the food for you. We also got two free Legoland towels and a huge Legoland bag. We'll be going back as soon as it opens again for the next summer. Totally worth it.

Despite by the time we're on the trip in April, it was going to be a cold - 60-70s and maybe rainy day. Tried to convince him otherwise but he made up his mind months ago, haha. Well it turned out that the son came out on our day but it was still cold, mid-60's. Unfortunately Chime park side was closed. Forgot when I sold this park initially to him that LEGOLAND is geared towards the younger age. As is the water park, the slides and rides are on the smaller kid age. So it should be perfect for son sons age of 5, but he has been to larger water parks and rode the big thrilling rides. So he had fun there, but he said it's bay ride slides haha. Then add on to that the wind chills and temperature. Our waterpark adventure ended pretty quickly. We did however make the rest of the day in the theme park end. By the way to go to the water park you need to also have tickets for the theme park as it's inside the theme park.

It's always packed which means it's hard for kids to easily move around and older/larger kids are often knocking over smaller kids in their excitement. There's still the one in Irvine but it's seen better days (they took out the waterslides, the mini golf is kinda sad, etc.). This Boomers in Vista (San Diego) is awesome! -They have a 2 story arcade -They have bumper boats -They have race cars (need to be 58" to drive by yourself but they also have cars for 2 people) -They have batting cages -They have laser tag -They have a large free parking lot My favorite thing about this Boomers is: -They have the most amazing mini golf! They have 2 mini golf courses: 1) pirate themed and 2) castle themed and both of the courses are really well maintained and have really cool features and tons of different obstacles. They have water features, the pirate course is 2 stories tall, they have really interesting holes, it's not just turf they have imitation sand and water and "rough" - the mini golf is really great here! I will gladly drive down from Orange County to come here to San Diego County because this Boomers is great! Just be warned they don't open until 11am on Sundays.

Want to wash your hands? Too bad. The carpets inside were disgusting. AC was wonky indoors. Snack shack was kind of gross. Just dingy. Everything needs a refresh. That said, this place is a descent spot to have some activities although its pricey for being overall sticky and out of date. You get mini golf, lazer tag, go carts, bumper boats, arcade, batting cages and a sunburn. And maybe hand foot mouth. Can we PLEASE get an out door bathroom and places to wash hands?! I really think there should be a family pass, but it's $50/person for unlimited activities which is pretty pricy, but I guess it's better than an hour in an escape room. For $150 you can get an entire annual membership to any museum....plus lunch. It's just super expensive. Probably won't go more than a couple times a year, but it's fine. With legoland passes I just can't justify the price....and the stickiness of it all. Pack hand wipes, and a pee bucket.
