He is kind, thoughtful and went above and beyond without even so much as being asked. Definitely deserves a promotion at the very least. He is the type of employee you want to keep forever. Some of the interactive buttons were not working, which was disappointing because those small details are a big part of the experience for kids. The hotel, however, was a bit of a downer. We stayed at the older hotel rather than the Castle Hotel, and our experience was not as smooth as expected. Our first breakfast was particularly frustrating. Since we were staying at the older hotel, we had to go to the other hotel just to have breakfast. The line was extremely long and chaotic because guests from both hotels were combined. To be fair, the breakfast itself was good and had a nice variety of food for both adults and kids, but the overall experience of getting breakfast was stressful. On our third day, we waited for the pool to open at 10:00 AM. After waiting for about 15 minutes, we were told that someone would be called to open it. We later found out that, for some unforeseen reason, there was a delay, and we were directed once again to use the pool at the Castle Hotel. I understand that unexpected issues can happen, and I'm not trying to be overly particular. However, this is a huge inconvenience for guests, especially families with young children. Having to walk to another hotel just to swim, and then walk back to the room while the kids are wet and carrying towels, is a hassle that guests shouldn't have to deal with. If staffing is consistently the reason the pool at the older hotel cannot open on time, then it would make more sense to consolidate operations and have guests stay at the Castle Hotel instead. Both hotels are priced similarly, yet guests staying at the older hotel are the ones repeatedly being inconvenienced. We shouldn't have to pay the same rate while having to walk to another hotel for breakfast, use facilities at another property, and constantly go back and forth between the two hotels. I understand that staffing issues can happen, but if this is an ongoing situation, management should find a better solution rather than passing the inconvenience on to the guests. Overall, the park was still enjoyable, but the lack of maintenance in some areas and the hotel experience took away from what could have been a much better stay.

At first I thought it would be a bad idea since it might hinder our view but I was wrong. My son loved it but not as much as the other options inside the park. Not sure how easy it is to just walk in and race .. could be why it didn't seem busy .

They have a scavenger hunt type of activity where the kiddos need to collect stamps from certain areas and at the end they are gifted with a sea life bracelet. It can get pretty busy inside. I did love coming years ago and they'd limit how many would enter, you felt like you had the whole place to yourself. Now, there's just too many inside and everyone is rushing to be the first one to view the sea life animals. Overall the kiddos and I enjoyed it, and there is an area to touch the star fish, etc which is highly popular and a washing station. They have a tank filled with sharks, you see them swim above you as you walk through this tunnel. Time well spent with the fam here.

We have been coming to this water park the whole summer and it has been an amazing experience. If you come early, there are plenty of umbrellas and chairs to choose from. The water is usually warm and we usually battle with our kids cause they never want to go home. Our favorite part is the wave pool where you get to enjoy and relax on a wavy pool while laughing at your kids getting slapped by the wave near the shore. They're the ones who like being tossed around by the wave. We also like the water pad where the water squirts or creates multiple water arcs, and kids just run around and get wet. This is the place where parents can just sit or lay under umbrellas while watching their kids. We rented a cabana once when we had family guests from Texas. There was a breastfeeding baby so we thought, a cabana would be great, and it was. the server took us to our cabana and explained everything. You really do not need to go anywhere to get food. You just text your server what you want and the server will get the food for you. We also got two free Legoland towels and a huge Legoland bag. We'll be going back as soon as it opens again for the next summer. Totally worth it.

Well it turned out that the son came out on our day but it was still cold, mid-60's. Unfortunately Chime park side was closed. Forgot when I sold this park initially to him that LEGOLAND is geared towards the younger age. As is the water park, the slides and rides are on the smaller kid age. So it should be perfect for son sons age of 5, but he has been to larger water parks and rode the big thrilling rides. So he had fun there, but he said it's bay ride slides haha. Then add on to that the wind chills and temperature. Our waterpark adventure ended pretty quickly. We did however make the rest of the day in the theme park end. By the way to go to the water park you need to also have tickets for the theme park as it's inside the theme park.

There's still the one in Irvine but it's seen better days (they took out the waterslides, the mini golf is kinda sad, etc.). This Boomers in Vista (San Diego) is awesome! -They have a 2 story arcade -They have bumper boats -They have race cars (need to be 58" to drive by yourself but they also have cars for 2 people) -They have batting cages -They have laser tag -They have a large free parking lot My favorite thing about this Boomers is: -They have the most amazing mini golf! They have 2 mini golf courses: 1) pirate themed and 2) castle themed and both of the courses are really well maintained and have really cool features and tons of different obstacles. They have water features, the pirate course is 2 stories tall, they have really interesting holes, it's not just turf they have imitation sand and water and "rough" - the mini golf is really great here! I will gladly drive down from Orange County to come here to San Diego County because this Boomers is great! Just be warned they don't open until 11am on Sundays.

That said, this place is a descent spot to have some activities although its pricey for being overall sticky and out of date. You get mini golf, lazer tag, go carts, bumper boats, arcade, batting cages and a sunburn. And maybe hand foot mouth. Can we PLEASE get an out door bathroom and places to wash hands?! I really think there should be a family pass, but it's $50/person for unlimited activities which is pretty pricy, but I guess it's better than an hour in an escape room. For $150 you can get an entire annual membership to any museum....plus lunch. It's just super expensive. Probably won't go more than a couple times a year, but it's fine. With legoland passes I just can't justify the price....and the stickiness of it all. Pack hand wipes, and a pee bucket.
