My five year old son owned it today!

Always worth the wait. If you want to get some ninja training in, then this is the place to go to while at the park. Be ready to chop chop chop your way through the dark digital attraction. Be sure to focus and smile as there are a few cameras in there ready to capture you and your family in true ninja form. Be sure to wear the glasses provided or you will finish the ride with a headache lol.

The line for this only took about 15 minutes on a Saturday, and half of the line was inside. This is basically a 3D ride where you move your arms around like a ninja to throw flameballs at "enemies" on the 3D screen. They provide the glasses. It is very loud inside, so if you dont like lots of noise or fast motion, skip this ride! It was fun, but man my arms were TIRED at the end!

As the father of an 8 year old boy, I have become well-versed in the art of Spinjitsu. On late night trips to the bathroom (read:fridge), I've variably stepped on minifigures Cole, Jay, Kai, Zane, Lloyd, and a particularly painful Sensei Wu. Which is to say, I didn't approach the Ninjago ride at LegoLand without a certain level of jocularity-- the promise of 3D sort of went part and parcel with my preconceived notions of Legos themselves (by default, lego bricks are 3D, Mildred)... but I have to admit that I never anticipated how much fun this ride would actually be. Using some kind of motion technology assisted by 3D glasses, displays, smart sound design, and some "4D" effects like air blasts and motion, riders "shoot" energy from their hands at all sorts of Ninjago villains. Like other rides at other themeparks (Midway Mania comes to mind), riders accrue points based on accuracy and speed. Minor adjustments to your hands' motions, direction, and frequency changes the apparent motion of your shots. I am proud that I have managed to place among the top players on subsequent trips to LegoLand... equally important, ahem, my kiddos had a great time on this ride. Sure, you may leave the park with a t-shirt featuring Nya, but that's just part of the fun. 5 stars await the rise designer who can modify this ride to include some kind of Spinjitsu effect for the riders!

Playing the actual game is secondary to Ninjago's immersive experience. The theme is pretty cool, and the idea of taking an interactive game to another level plays well here. I've been on this a few times and the game play just seems clunky and not very responsive. My magic missiles seem to fly everywhere but the target. Daily leaders score in the 300k range, my best is only 100k.. Ahh well. The line does move quickly, but the posted wait time never seems to less than 30 minutes. - Ninjago the Ride is a step in the right direction for the dated Legoland California.

Shannon N's single star review of this theme park ride motivated me to write one. She gave it a single star on the grounds that her six year old couldn't figure it out, and followed that up with the incorrect statement that the ride offers no instructions. My four year old figured it out just fine, and scored more points (54,000) than many adults, so it clearly isn't so difficult. Regarding instructions, there are large signs throughout the ride line, including several at the end that even those using the "Reserve N Ride" will see if they've skipped the rest of the line. These signs not only tell you the direction of motion your hands should use, which is front to back not sideways slides, which others who also ignore the instructions tend to get wrong, but the signs also offer up the height range above the sensor you should stay within. People giving one of the most popular rides at the park one star because they didn't read the signs seems excessive. FYI for anyone considering the Reserve N Ride paid line skip for this ride; given this is one of the most popular rides at Legoland, unlike most of the rides where you can skip an unlimited amount but with current waits factored in, the three tiers of Reserve N Ride give you just one, two or three line skips for this ride per day and then you cannot schedule it again.

So much fun. The whole area is well themed out. One person can stand in line while the rest of your group can take pictures with all the cool stuff. The majority of the line area is shaded. They have activity posters while you wait inside, kids liked that. The ride itself is about 5 mins. You sit in groups of 4. As you spin around to different scenes and use your ninja skills while your triceps get a work out LOL. The pictures at the end are funny. They even rank your group!

My daughter loves Lego Ninjago. Her favorite character is Llyod. The ride is a 3D ride where you sit in the ride with your 3D goggles and 'chop' the ninja baddies. You need to use quick arm movements to target the bad guys on the screen. If you are looking for a great 5 min upper body workout, look no further! Your arms will be sore after this ride if you legitly use them to knock out the baddies. Its super fun ride and PG. It may spook younger ones if they're afraid of snakes, but overall, super fun ride. If you want quick wait times, check this ride out first thing in the morning or later in the afternoon after 4pm.

Well here is a ride that is quite popular at LEGOLAND !! I was Hanging around LEGOLAND and I thought to myself why not give this ride a try and boy oh boy I have to say it was worth the wait in line for this . The line was not to long when I went on . So lucky me !! Now as you take this ride it I is motion sensor meaning you just wave your arms up and down and try to kill as many monsters as you can !! It is super fun for all ages and perfect for kids !! It is also a 3D Ride which you have to put on the 3D Glasses they provide for you !! But first you have to wait and be assigned which lane to go to . To load and prepare to take on The monsters and try to kill as many as you can !! Super Fun Ride !! It does not go fast at all it's a Normal pace ride and totally awesome for the whole Family !! I Enjoyed the whole ride and I believe you will also !! Give it a Try and I know you will love it !!

Bought at the store exiting the ride $61.50

We went here for one day and it did not feel like enough time to do everything, which was ok for us since we didn't see a need to try ever ride and experience everything they had to offer. Definitely for younger kiddos. We took our 4.5 year old who enjoyed the experience, but it could have been any kids theme park as we don't know much about legos. The experience might be more enhanced if you and your family are lego fans. The main park has some water play areas, so if it's a hot day your kids might enjoy the water (so I'd recommend you bring swim clothes and a change of clothes!) even if you didn't get tickets for the main water park.

If you come on a weekday, the lines aren't too bad. There are so many fantastic and well maintained playgrounds and play areas, and I appreciate the sensory room as a mother of two toddlers. Now, the shortcomings. Every employee we interacted with besides 2 of them seemed miserable. They had bad attitudes, didn't want to help, were too distracted talking to coworkers, etc. to bring a positive experience to the guests. My other complaint is that everything truly is so expensive. I understand it's a theme park, but the prices for food and drinks were absurd. We also were so excited for the driving school to get our son's "license" and it was $30 for a card with his photo and a lanyard. It's cute, but they could charge 1/3 of the price and still make a great profit. This price gouging makes the difference in regular trips or not. Also, standard parking was $40.

Ever since it opened a few years ago, I knew it was something I wanted to see. Although limited, it still has a big impact. The path leading into Star Wars MINIland and MINIland USA is lined with large LEGO sculptures of famous Star Wars characters. These are done with incredible detail. Focusing mostly on the Original Trilogy, there are also a few Clone Wars characters, a former focus of Star Wars MINIland in general. On our visit, the transition was being performed from a TCW-centric experience to one focusing on The Force Awakens. Opening March 9, 2017, Star Wars MINIland will be updated for modern fandom. The areas not changing that I got to see were worth coming into the park. Naboo was breathtaking, so many moving parts and beautiful details. Endor may have been my favorite with all the tree elements and little scenes. I got a peek at Hoth through the fence, I don't believe this display is changing. The Death Star is the biggest display, huge and imposing. The display also features interior scenes and tons of ships locked in a permanent space battle. Next to the Death Star display is Empire Emporium, a LEGO Star Wars pop up shop. They have a wide array of LEGO Star Wars sets and accessories and also have their own promotions not available elsewhere in the park, including free mini-figs and polybags depending on the date. This is a must-visit for all Star Wars fans!

First off, the ticket pricing is totally worth it for the whole family. Admission for a 1‑day ticket that includes both LEGOLAND and SEA LIFE typically starts around $99 for adults and as low as $39 for kids (ages 2-12) when purchased online, which made it a great value for all six of us. From the moment we walked in, the kids were thrilled -- especially with the slide right at the entrance that set the tone for fun right away! The aquarium is designed with little ones in mind, and our kids genuinely loved seeing all the colorful fish and sea creatures up close. There were plenty of exhibits to explore and educational videos playing that made it both entertaining and informative for the whole family. One of the highlights was getting to touch some of the tide pool animals at the end of the experience -- a super fun, hands‑on moment that our kids are still talking about! And the staff were fantastic -- friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgeable. They were happy to answer all our questions and share cool facts about the animals we were seeing. Overall, this aquarium visit was totally worth it, especially for families with young kids who love sea life and interactive experiences. We walked away with big smiles, great memories, and stories the kids can't wait to share. Highly recommend adding this to your family outing list!

We have been coming to this water park the whole summer and it has been an amazing experience. If you come early, there are plenty of umbrellas and chairs to choose from. The water is usually warm and we usually battle with our kids cause they never want to go home. Our favorite part is the wave pool where you get to enjoy and relax on a wavy pool while laughing at your kids getting slapped by the wave near the shore. They're the ones who like being tossed around by the wave. We also like the water pad where the water squirts or creates multiple water arcs, and kids just run around and get wet. This is the place where parents can just sit or lay under umbrellas while watching their kids. We rented a cabana once when we had family guests from Texas.
