Ivy did an amazing job on my nails. She was fast without sacrificing quality. The shape was exactly what I wanted, and she didn't cut my fingers and leave me bleeding (which is rare for me to find someone who doesn't slice up my fingers) I was really happy with my nails. It wasn't the cleanest nail salon I've ever been in, which concerned me a little bit, but the quality and service was excellent. read more

Lady was rude and was acting unprofessional because my nails weren't drying in time. Also repeating telling me to "relax my hand! And demanding that I put my own hand under the drying nail led didn't even oil my nails when they were done and was slamming things. read more

I actually stumbled on this nail salon on my way to another store in the complex. I saw they were open after 7 and I badly needed my eyebrows to be waxed. I walked in and was service right away. I had asked the lady who did my brows to change one or two things after she was done. She wasn't combative or argumentative about it oh, it was obvious she wanted me to have what I wanted. In the end I was very pleased with my brows.It was funny because I asked him if I could run to another store and come back to get a pedicure and they were really chill about it. Of course I came back when I was done with my other errand... because the other store was going to close had I done the pedicure first. I had selected I guess the basic pedicure oh, but I was misunderstood and was given the deluxe pedicure. I wasn't going to make a big deal about it because this was one of the best pedicures I had ever received. This lady took her time! Not in a wasting time type of way, but he's very attentive to detail, best work type of way. She cleaned those cuticles, gave me like three different massages, and my polish was immaculate. This was my first time going to Gala Nails, based on recommendation of a family member. I got acrylic nails with a matte top coat, which turned out not to be very matte. The guy who did my nails took more than an hour and a half and did not shape them very well, he left them thicker in some areas than others, and also got nail dust in the polish so there are bumps. Also left clumps of dried polymer underneath my nail. I don't know if he was new or what but he seemed frustrated and sighed a lot. Based on that experience I don't think I would return. I don't normally review anything ever but my husband and I got pedicures here today and were very impressed. The lady who did his worked very hard, his feet were bad, and she worked hard to get his feet smooth and massaged well. She spoke little English and I didn't get her name. The man who did mine was very nice, I had some skin scraped off the side of my foot but nothing awful. The polish looked good, if you got really close there was a couple messy spots but that's it. They were very eager to serve us and humble and we did not have to wait at all. The salon was nice inside and they offered drinks to us. The price was decent for the experience. First off they don't have their hours of operation posted just so when you walk in they can deny you, they also are rude when you walk in if they're too busy, they tell you it's a long wait on purpose just so you can leave. I've tried to come here plenty of times thinking it's probably just the people but it's the same thing different people. The nail work is horrible too, I took my daughter and a friend to get their nails done and the Lady doing her friends nails was asking her if she bites her nails, when she told her yes, the lady responded with telling her that's gross, nasty and ugly, along with making faces to her. I am baffled that this place does not have a higher rating. The first time I went in I needed a super quick gel polish change on my lunch break. She sat me and had me out the door in twenty minutes. I work in the oilfield and they still lasted the full two weeks. This second time I went in without an appointment needing a gel manicure, a pedicure AND lash extensions. I did not expect them to be able to take me as a 4pm walk in but it was no problem! I had all of my services done and was out the door in two hours. It cost $115 for all three. That's a wonderful price! I could easily have paid double for just the lashes. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating, they did not take short cuts and each instrument used came directly from a sanitary bag. As an added bonus they can match your gel polish to a regular polish if you prefer not to put gel on your toes like me. Overall my nails look great and the lashes are going to be a big hit in Vegas (the reason I needed all of the services). I can't wait to go back in a couple weeks! read more

The day after i found out I has antibodies to the COVID virus, I went for a long-awaited mani/pedi. I have been to many nail salons in the Permian and have yet to find one that had high cleanliness standards, but a few friends recommended this place, and it is a mile form home. I walked in to find a man in charge without a mask. I asked him why people weren't wearing them, and he said, "It's a personal choice." Um, no dude, it's a mandate, and we are in a pandemic. Of all the employees there that day, only the one who did my pedi wore a mask properly. The lady doing my nails sat right next to me during my pedi without a mask at all. I would say four others I saw had them hanging under their noses. There is no plexiglass at the manicure station. The customers too seemed all in with risking the health of everyone there, and I only saw a couple of clients wearing masks. Maybe you think COVID is a hoax, and if so, YOU WILL LOVE THIS PLACE. As for me, I will let anyone who asks know it is a danger to the community. read more

Really good place. The only thing is that ivy put polish on my nails and didn't let it dry in between coats so it got air in my nail polish. My nails are still drying and I got them done about 2 hours ago. My friend ask got her nails done and says the guy does a good job but he made her bleed in the cuticles twice.
