This has not been my experience in some guitar shops I have visited in my 55 years of playing the guitar. I told the gentleman who assisted me that I was interested in buying a smaller-bodied acoustic guitar, most likely a Martin. He showed me several and did not rush me as I played them. He kindly answered all my questions and gave me some great information about the various models. Then he brought out a very special guitar - a Martin 00-28 Modern Deluxe. The MD is a great guitar anyway, but this one in particular was stunning, with beautiful silking on the top and a gorgeous bookmatched back. When I played it and heard the sound of it, so full and resonant coming out of that small body, I just fell head over heels in love with it! Although I looked at and played a couple more, I knew that guitar was THE ONE. It cost somewhat more than I expected to spend, but this store has both layaway and several financing options, and these guys made it happen for me so that I walked out and went home with this incredible guitar. I can't say enough good things about these guys. I have owned so many guitars over the years (I couldn't even count how many) but this guitar is the love of my guitar life. Instead the stomate came in well below what was anticipated and they gave me several different options to choose from. They provided a loaner for free since the repair wouldn't be done before school and even tried to give me two reeds for free, which I insisted on paying for. The prices are fair and they've got a great variety of instruments and gear for the size of storefront they have. The staff is top notch. I had only been in there 3 times and they called me by name when I walked through the door. This is a gem of a place for our town.

So I needed some film developed and I looked on Yelp and found this company near where my…read moregrandchild lives. So I went and I dropped off 32 rolls of film that needed developed. Yes I said 32! I actually had 33 rolls but there was one that they could not develop, an old disc from a disc camera. I was immediately greeted as I walked in and he told me my options for getting them developed and also what the cost would be. The shop is a very nice shop and has many examples of their work inside. They also have a shop dog and he is very friendly he will also let you know he has treats down on the end of the counter :) When I went to pick up my photos they were very nicely packaged in their envelopes and all of the envelopes were in boxes. I also dropped off 140 slides to have them printed. When I picked up the slides they were also nicely packaged and I had a disc of them and a couple of boxes that contained all of the prints. I am very happy with the service provided and will look to them in the near future to build an album of some old pictures.

My friend and I had been sending watches here for years. The service and quality of work had always…read morebeen very good. Recently, the number of watches that had to be returned for what appeared to be quality control issues had gone up. Frustrating to say the least. Most recently, I had a vintage Heuer chronograph serviced by Adam. After the several month turn around time, I wore the watch for several weeks with no issues observed (besides lume that was damaged during the service which I was notified about). I put the Heuer back in my watch box where it sat for months. When I took it out to use is again, the watch would run for a while and stop. Also, the chronograph hands weren't resetting correctly. I sent it back in (under the one year warranty) and Adam indicated he made some adjustments. I got it back after several weeks and it was doing the exact same thing. As I was trying to decide whether to send it back again (as we had already had numerous watches returned and were frustrated with the quality of work) the service warranty lapsed. With the watch a month out of warranty, Kokomo refused to look at watch again. Let's not forget it was having the same issue (and obviously was not fixed) as the last time it was sent in. Needless to say, I would not recommend them. If the watch means anything to you, I recommend finding another watchmaker.

Very reasonable pricing and very fast with his craft. I had an instrument cluster on a 2013 Chevy Malibu that was working intermittently. I found videos on YouTube and found a solution that required resoldering of a resistor on the back of the motherboard. He ran a test afterwards and showed me that it worked. I got the part home and it was a success. He has a no fix, no fee policy. It's people like Mike that restore my faith in humanity.
