I'll start with the good then the bad. They got me in extremely last minute. I was switching job and loosing my insurance for a while and I stopped in on a Friday at about an hour before they closed. To my surprise the very friendly staff and Doctor saw me l, even as a new patient. I was extremely impressed by this. All their rooms were clean, organized and appeared well maintained. I have a really bad phobia of things in my eyes and can deal with the old puff style pressure test but the new style creeps me out and they were able to do it relatively quick with minimal discomfort or distress on my part. They have a decent selection of frames but seems a little steep on the price but that's ok as I prefer to shop and spend my money locally. Found a pair that was similar to what I had but it was larger and therefore heavier. I placed my order for them and it took about a week to come in as I got special lenses. This is where it turned south for me. They came in and I was given the glasses without any attempt to fit them to me. The one nose piece was very badly bent to one side and I asked if they could adjust it (I didn't want to break it being brand new). She adjusted the one yet didn't touch the other which I had to manipulate to make even with the first one. When I put them on WOW. Not a good wow. I'm 40 and have had glasses since I was 10 or so. The focal point was off or something. Being new I told her it was off but it was probably just the new prescription I had to get used to, so I left. I didn't even make it to my vehicle and the nose piece she had just adjusted broke off. I turned around and went back in to tell them. Unfortunately they did not have another one of this frame in stock. They apologized and said they'd get it ordered. A week goes by and still no replacement. A second week goes by and they finally have the replacement. The new one the nose pieces are in good shape and not needing major adjustments, just a few minor tweaks on my part. The new frames have the same focal issue. I tried and tried to get used to them. I seriously thought I was having a medical issue at one point when I couldn't read a price tag at the store. Headaches and blurred vision. I finally placed a zenni, online china based store, order with the new Rx and waited. In my mind I was prepared for the same focal issues and headaches but within SECONDS of putting on this internet stores order my headache went away and I can read again. I orderef from the online place about 4 years ago and had reorder the same frames but with the new prescription. I don't know what got screwed up but this has been and painful experience. TWO stars ONLY because they were friendly and very accommodating of my schedule. I don't know if their lab messed it up or they entered the wrong numbers, or the frames weren't designed for my pupil distance, or what! I would recommend them for the doctors services but absolutely NOT for the glasses. read more

This is a really tough review. Had my eyes checked, and bought glasses so this review pertains to both. Eyes checked - outstanding service, great optometrist. No complaints. If this review was just for her, it would be 5 stars. Glasses - first, the ladies were super friendly and helpful in choosing frames. They get 5 stars for that but if this was just for the glasses overall I would probably give 2 stars at most. I bought three pair the first time - two regular and one pair of sunglasses. One of the things I noticed which was different from any other glasses place I have been to is they don't check them against your face or make sure the actual lenses center to your eye accurately. I picked up the distance glasses today and they are a bit blurry and I have to wonder if that's the reason but plan to give them a try. I bought prescription sunglasses which I promptly dropped in the lake 5 days later so back I went. Again, super friendly and helpful when picking out a frame. Their selection of sunglasses is very slim (they just tint the lenses so any frame will work, but not all frames are good with sunglasses). Anyway, I finally picked out a pair - not crazy about them, but was trying to keep the cost down since I just threw a $200 pair in the lake. Same thing as before - no fitting to your face or making sure they line up correctly. I picked them up later the same day and unfortunately they are a little loose on my face, Something they said they could not fix but would probably have determined had they used the same processes as other places. So...now I have a $160 pair of sunglasses that I'm sure I will lose soon as they are so loose on my face they won't stay up so I will end up not actually wearing them like I should. Bottom line - go to get your eyes checked but take the prescription somewhere else as they just want your money here and don't really care about the end result. read more

Great staff! I was able to get my son and I in within the same week I called for an appointment. Lora was super friendly and was very helpful when it cAme time to chose frames.
