The very last thing he did was a stretch of my arm behind my back while on my stomach that was made possible by the 60 minutes of warming and loosening my body. The stretch was combined with holding a pressure point on each side which was so exactly right the knot released and melted away in that moment. Color me impressed. The facial came complete with THOROUGH extractions. She didn't skimp, rush or ignore any detail on my face.

There was not one sanity precaution taken prior to touching my face. Within 2 days of getting my brows threaded, I had the WORST breakout/reaction of my life around my eyebrows and now have to see a dermatologist. As someone with clear skin who has been getting my eyebrows threaded for over 10 years and have never had an issue like this- I am so beyond disappointed and disgusted with the lack of cleanliness at this salon. After receiving Picosure laster treatment, my skin became very sensitive and dry. Just one drop of serum would cause burning sensation. I thought it was an initial reaction to a treatment, so I waited out. I even used one of the products they sold (Haracell?) as well (but I thought it was one of the worst after-care products I've ever used -- just felt like some water-based cream with barely anything). 2. I had to delay my second treatment and when I went for a second treatment, I asked if my skin reaction was normal and if it was okay for the treatment (still sensitive). They said they would just do something "lighter" which was a combination of Excel V and Genesis. 3. Had worse reaction than the first time, my friends started asking what's wrong. I waited for a month again to calm it down, but then my skin not only became too thin (causing wrinkles)/sensitive/dry/flaky, but also would swell badly. No proper instructions of after-care / at-home care for laser either, just told me to put on some vaseline. 4. After trying out different skincare products, I went to 3 different dermatologists, and they all said I now have eczema (which I never had in my life). Got prescribed with steroids (which is not really good for you!) Service Okay, so who would not be mad when you spend $$ to make skin better but get worse? I think the biggest problem is how they acted when I asked them for a refund of the remainder of the package I purchased. The manager at the Jersey City location is EXTREMELY RUDE and had a bad attitude. Constantly questioned why I would have developed eczema ("There must be a different reason"), trying to not to give a refund for the 3 remaining treatments. And they couldn't even process the refund right away (unlike what they told me on the phone), so apparently you have to go there TWICE in order to get a refund. When I challenged that, she said "How would you get a refund then? Don't you want a refund?" with a bad attitude. Interestingly, this manager only talked about "rich Chinese people" spending money at the clinic, without explaining much about skin treatments, at my initial consultation.

This place is just not it…read more I bought a package for microneedling the first time was great the second time I went to monclair evolve med spa due to scheduling since they cancelled my appointment then the third time I came back to the JC location on JUNE 20 and they burned me. When I went my third time she told me that she went deeper this was a Friday immediately after my face felt off hurt like it never have before. I booked an appointment immediately with my dermatologist and the doctor told me they were to aggressive with the microneedling. I reached out to evolve and they told me to come in right away they gave me a gel and said to use it. My burn marks were not going away so I asked for a refund. I was honestly so sad my face looked like this everyone that saw me felt bad. Finally on July 15 after so much back and forth about waiting to hear back about a refund they emailed me saying " Furthermore, we have spoken to our clinical team and upper management in regard to this matter and we will issue you a refund for a single session of Microneedling. Please allow up to 7-10 business days for this to show on your account." On JULY 16 they emailed me saying they can't process the refund since it bounced back because 6 months have passed & that it will take 30 days to fully resolved by August 15.... It is now September 4th and they ghosted me. They have not emailed me called me or contacted me in anyway after I emailed them & texted. I was lied to and now I have burn marks and scares that I have to treat and cover with heavy makeup. It's very sad how they handled the situation but for anyone reading this please be careful with microneedling here and just know if anything goes wrong. They will just ignore you and not make it right. Go here ..get burned ..and get ghosted.. comical at this point. Till this day 11/24/25 no refund or contact from this office.

I was already considering Accutane beforehand, and my skin became so much worse after this facial that I'm now on it. Please be cautious if you have reactive or acne-prone skin.

This was quite literally the best massage of my life. I did the hot salt stone massage with Christina and she threw in the CBD oil. I'm seriously knotted up at all times and Christina acknowledged how insanely tight my muscles are without making me feel bad about it. She targeted my problem points with an accuracy I've never experience before and gave me great advice about how to improve things between massages. I'm a glowy puddle of bliss right now. I'm already looking forward to my next facial in February. I also purchased a serum and moisturizer to try. I will update my review in a few months time, but so far I am loving it and paying just a bit more attention to my skin care routine.
