We of course ordered Kölsch, which they bring around to drop off full glasses as soon as you finish the last sip of your previous glass. I ordered a dish from their seasonal asparagus menu, which was very tasty. The schnitzel was fried well without being too dry and the asparagus was huge, but still delicious. Jaegar sauce was packed with mushrooms in a brown gravy and the Balkan were fresh chopped onions, a flavorful red sauce and a white sauce with fresh herbs. Amazing amazing. Other than that, we tried Metthappen (raw pork tartare), which was somewhat bland and mushy. Had to add a lot of salt and pepper for more flavor. With that said, the liverwurst and blood sausage were both excellent. In the end, I did not love the bread, but the pickle was great. Service with a smile, the servers were very kind and patient.
