The sushi was okay, and we also enjoyed the complimentary chips and salsa. They have a great selection of seafood dishes, so there are plenty of options to try. Service was okay, and the live music created a fun atmosphere, although it was extremely loud and made conversation difficult. Overall, we enjoyed the food and will definitely return for the ceviche and to explore more of the seafood menu.

For me, I am not a huge seafood lover- unless I am in Monterey or San Francisco. The vibe of this restaurant is pretty interesting. Think Dia de Los Muertos in a discoteca. I think this place better serves as somewhere to get drunk which makes the food seem better. The food is not bad , just doesn't stand out from anywhere else. On my visit, I opted for the chile verde with their handmade corn tortillas. The chile was spicy enough for me and the tortillas were fantastic. Shout out to the tortilla lady preparing those fresh all day! The refried beans were really runny- I should have asked if they offered whole pinto beans as an option. Service was pretty good, although I wasn't quite sure who our server was . We had multiple people come to our table during our visit. I think this restaurant is fun and interesting with solid food options. Would I be back? Yes, if I want to drink, listen to loud music and eat some damn good tortillas!

Good service and good food! You place your order at the counter and find a seat and wait for your…read morenumber to be called. We ordered a few tacos, a corn tamale(an uchepo), and a kids taco plate. The tacos are loaded with a ton of meat and the tortillas are delicious. I tried the carne asada and loved the taste. Many restaurants have soggy carne asada from cooking in large batches. Not the case here. The rice and beans were just okay in my opinion, and I could have passed. The corn tamale flavor was nice but a little on the dense side. This is a no frills place. However I did not question the cleanliness at all. There were plenty of workers cleaning/wiping down tables. The salsa bar was clean and the open view of the kitchen appeared clean as well. Tacos are a little pricey, about $5 each, however they are quite large.

Loved the addition of cotija cheese on the nachos and the portion was huge, which I appreciated since they were not cheap. At the salsa bar they have 4 spicy options (2 green, 2 red), a pick de gallo with jalapeños, onion/cilantro, cucumbers, and cut limes. Chips are sold separately. They have inside seating and outside too. Some picnic tables by the road with a good amount of shade. If you're looking for delicious Mexican food in Gilroy, congratulations you've found it!

Served in a soft corn tortilla with cabbage, tomato's, pico and green sauce on the side. Super yummy. The salmon/lemon roll was excellent. No skimping on the fish. Rolled well. Came with a roasted pepper which was an excellent touch. Sides of chipotle, and soy sauce. Super yummy lunch. The service was quick. My order was ready when I arrived and the person who greeted me had a huge smile. The music was super loud but there wasn't anyone in the restaurant at that point so I'm sure it was to keep the vibe good with the employees. All in all a good experience

There's a sign that says "Wait to be seated", but no one came out to seat us and a group of people walked past us to go inside, were sat right away. A girl who sat us ended up being our server but took a very long time for her to come back out to even take our drink orders. I had to ask the guy bringing water and tortilla chips who our server was. Once our server arrived she was very nice and answered our menu questions. I ordered the the spicy Mamacita and my friend ordered the pina colada. Both drinks looked cool but mine was very sweet, not really spicy at all and was tiny for $15. I think I mostly paid for the presentation part...flower, popsicle, etc. We both ordered the 3 taco trio and the food came out before long. I had a mahi mahi, carne asada and a taco macho. Again, the food wasn't that great: rice and beans had an off flavor, octopus was chewy in the taco macho, and the mahi was a bit fishy. We took half our food to go and checked out. All in all I would not come back unless it was out of convenience due to the location. The food and drinks have a nice presentation, but the taste of everything wasn't there for me. Although our server was really nice and my friend and I were busy chatting, the service was slow.
