Rounding up to 4 stars ... everything we ordered was Decent and overall tasty. I was looking around to have a repeat of the Burrito we found at Cachanilla ... no such luck. However, I will say that this burrito was at least flavorful and did not depend on my adding salsa to it for any sort of flavor: which on the whole seems to be the norm around these parts. The burrito was flavorful, well put together but definitely lacking in the ingredient 'freshness' I was hoping for. But tasty. Husband had the Chile Verde Burrito and I had the Shrimp. I do appreciate that you can opt not to have rice on the burrito. I also appreciate that they offer a vegetarian or shrimp burrito. Big round up of stars for that! The Chile Relleno was 'ok' a bit surprisingly bland, but well and properly cooked. The shrimp tostada was ... definitely not the best tostada in town, so will not go here for those. However, I was very happy to find a little 'more authentic' Mexican spot in town where not everything was as bland but the salsa! Will be ordering from this spot again. read more

This place is a small convenience store with a taqueria tucked in on the side. Both areas are organized and clean and they have a couple of small tables for dine in. I ordered two burritos , one pastor and one asada, two plain asada tacos for my little and an horchata. All items were delicious and the service was quick. I highly recommend this little taqueria when you're in the mood for good on the run. read more

I'm from San Jose and I've Never wrote a bad review, stopped by at 5 am on the way home from Monterey from a family trip. This place seriously has 4 stars??? I've ate so many good Mexican spots and I've had places that were ok and whatever. But this place was the worst one I've ever had. You see the pictures I posted below... literally tasted like water beans, dried pork. My burrito smelled weird cause the meat. Rice was bland. I was really shocked because I thought it would be better which was such a huge let down. I'm only writing this to spread awareness cause seriously I'm not sure how you can say this is a good authentic Mexican restaurant. Also to add one last thing. I woke up and my stomach hurts from that pork I ate, I'm really disappointed to be writing this as I'm a big supporter for local food restaurants but yeah this was terrible I'm sorry. Deliciosa comida, solo que desafortunadamente hoy tuve un inconveniente con una trabajadora de este lugar. Está tarde, fui a consumirles un platillo al cual quise cancelar por lo que no contaba con suficiente dinero para cubrir el resto de la orden. La trabajadora que me atendió me dijo que afuerzas tenía que pagar el dinero restante ya que "la máquina no la dejaría cancelar la orden o hacer una nueva para los clientes que estaban llegando". Me hizo sentir incómoda y responsable por la falta de calidez de la máquina registradora y por su ignorancia al ser una señora que no sabía cómo cancelar una orden en la máquina. En pocas palabras, me estaba inculpando por no poder atender a los demás solo porque quise cancelar una orden que no podia pagar en el momento. Encima de esto, yo le había dado poco efectivo para pagar parte de la orden a lo que ella respondió que tampoco me lo podia regresar ya que ella "se iba a quedar corta" con estas palabras me lo dijo a lo que me dió a entender que se iba a quedar sin cambio también si me regresaba mi dinero. Esto es negligencia laboral y abuso al cliente. Si fué por errores técnicos de su máquina registradora, traten de Invertir y renovar su equipo laboral y si fué por ignorancia por parte de la trabajadora que no sabe usar una máquina en 2025, busquén mejor personal actualizado para que no siga pasando ésto. Afortunadamente, hubo un joven amable que se ofreció a pagar el resto solo para terminar la discusión, pero eso no le quita el hecho de seguir siendo una negligencia. Ive been going to La Flor de Jalisco for years and the quantities and quality of food is amazing!! I have tried tacos dorados , menudo, breakfast burrito, enchiladas, Chile relleno, nopales with steak and eggs, I mean I have tried it all and the best part is you can customize your order, I also think there coffee and Mexicanwaters are good...if you want Mexican Food this is a must have!! This is a hole in the wall place, but it is so good! I had the sopes and they were loaded with so many toppings. I was stuffed with two. My BF had the costillas con nopales and enjoyed it very much.
